How long at the port?

Orange and new yellow were the only colors that I did not see. I was suprised to see a Yakama basket installed as a factory accessory, it look decent but it was not full length and was a little too tall for my taste.

Even with the stock 265 tires size, the pro models get a rocker panel cap chop under the mud flaps and front fender trim to prevent rubbing. I was told the 4 runner rake with the front end lower than the rear was for DOT compliance on the fog light height. It was an interesting tour through their facility.

 

Still no 4Runner. At Long Beach port 7/12. 26 days and counting for delivery to dealer in Southern California. I don’t know what’s going on.

 

Did you have any port installed add ons?

 

Yes a few. Simple stuff though. The dealer has about 20 incoming. I wonder if the port waited for a truckload. Delivery date was between Aug 2-9 so we will see.

 

Our 4runner was taken off of the dealership website today. Really hoping that means it arrived lol. Waiting on a call now *fingers crossed*

 

I was just notified new est delivery date is 8/18-8/23. It’s taken less time to build it in Japan and ship it here on a boat than to transport it from the port to a dealer 80 miles away.

 

Pro tip: Don't order a Gobi rack!

 

I didn’t. Just floor liners, cross bars, chrome exhauste, door edge guards, all weather mats and quick charge cables.

Just got an e-mail that the truck was due to leave processing at the port on 8/18. Previously it was supposed to be 8/6, then 8/13. So at this rate it's looking like September for delivery. It got off the boat on 7/30.

 

Just got an update... Mine went to freight "F" status.
And the waiting continues haha

 

How do I track my vehicle? I have the VIN, is there a website? I was told it's at the Port in Long Beach.

 

You have to ask your dealership/salesperson. They are the only ones with access to the database.

 

I have a LR that I’m pretty sure was on the same boat as you. Has your dealer given you a estimated delivery date? Also, have you talked to them about when you are officially signing?

They said it shows in the system as estimated September 7-13th but said its just an estimate and can be there earlier than that. Once I have a confirmation of the delivery date... I will be traveling to sign paperwork and hand them the check.

 

I think yours may be on the same ship mine is on. If so its set to arrive at Long Beach tonight

 

Actually mine had arrived at long beach last month 7/23. It is currently freight status on a train on it was to the dealer.

 

Yeah, mine arrived on 7/30 and still has not cleared processing.

 

Ahhh then yes it is possible. Looks like everything is backed up as of right now.
My dealer emailed me this morning and said there has not been any update from the last eta.

 

We got word this morning that the ORP we ordered finally showed up at the dealer lot this morning. We’re picking it up tomorrow morning, which puts it right at 3 months since putting down a deposit. The last few weeks have been nothing but delivery window changes. That seems be in line with the timeline others have posted regarding their orders.

 

Do you know when it arrived at port? And when it left the port to go on freight?

 

Please update me when you get yours. What state are you getting yours from? My dealer is 15 miles from Long Beach. Arrived in port 7/29-30, with no options installed. (Im)patiently waiting...

 

My loan approval was expiring today so the dealership called me after checking. The car went from A to F status. System shows earliest 23rd with 24-30th the range.

 

Mine was on the same boat. Still not ETA for exit processing.

 

Ours left Japan on 6/7 and arrived at Portland, Ore. port on 6/24. It didn't leave until 7/23 and made it to Kentucky this morning. I think the holdup with ours was the fact it had nine port installed options.

 

What port installed options did you go with?

My T4R arrived in Portland on Aug 10 and is *allegedly* going to get to Ohio by 8/31 ... but we'll see.

 

I drive by Benicia every day, sometimes the place is packed with cars, sometimes it’s empty. Apparently container ships and car carriers are backed up in the bay.

 

So this 4runner is actually for my wife (I have a '20 Tacoma), but luckily she's got good taste lol. The 4runner she spec'd out to the dealer was a black Off Road premium with the blackout package and blacked out wheels and a few other things like the TRD pro roof rack. Our dealer happened to find one that had already been built, wasn't allocated to another dealer and already on the boat. It was about 90 percent of what she had picked out.

My LR changed to F status today with a deliver window of 8/25 to 8/31 (headed home to Seattle). Hit port 7/23. Added trail running boards, and black out overlays, along with the minor Pro mods made at port.

 

Mine hit port the same day as yours (Long Beach Port). Hopefully I get an updated delivery window soon too.
