How long at the port?

My 4runner arrived at portland on December 28. What timeline have people seen from port to dealer? My 4runner is being delivered to Peppers Toyota in Paris TN.

 

My 22 ORP was like 7 weeks from Portland to the STL MO area dealer.

 

Think it arrived 10/18 and I got it like 12/10 or thereabouts.

 

Super - mine arrived in Portland 11/04 - arrived at Peppers Toyota on 12/11, so 35 days more or less - I couldn't fly in until 12/15 and picked up on 16th. Drove home to Colorado Springs (1100 miles) through rainy weather combinations of two-lane in Tennessee, multiple lanes in Missouri, I-70. Great way to break in vehicle - not a problem.

 

Mine went to Tennessee also. Mine took almost a month and a half from port. But they seem to be getting more in now so it may not take that long

 

Mine arrived at the LA port 11/29/21, made it through customs 12/10/21. Originally was supposed to be delivered 12/15/21 to UT. Keeps getting delayed, currently scheduled now for 1/12/22-1/14/22, this is the 6th date window I’ve received. My concern is why it keeps getting delayed and that it was damaged in transit and now they’re just delaying delivery for it to be repaired without telling my dealer or me. Dealer claims to have no info and no access to any additional info other than the date window.

 

Obviously we can’t know for sure but i highly doubt it has been damaged. It’s a slooooow process for sure. I understand the impatience, believe me I do, I can promise you it’s well worth the wait!

 

My dealer received allocation of my ORP at the beginning of December. I got notified of shipment on 12/15. On 1/2 my Toyota app finally displayed mileage and fuel level, and the dealer took delivery on 1/7. My only port option was all weather floor mats, so maybe that sped up the processing time at port. Overall mine seemed to be quicker than most, or maybe the port is getting a bit quicker now.

 

My silver ORP is supposed to get to Portland Jan 10 and get to North Idaho around mid February but who knows. Been waiting since early October so no big rush.

 

Mine too! My original date was 1/4 then 1/11 now it's 1/17. On the Toyota App it showed a notification on 12/28, what dealership did you go through? Mine is through Mark Miller.

 

Do you have all the subscriptions enabled? I haven’t not enabled mine yet.

 

Yes. Originally I enabled all of them but didn’t like that the trial times started counting down so I disabled them and noticed I lost visibility of the mileage and fuel gauge. I actually decided to remove my vehicle from my account for a little while, and then when I added it back a couple weeks ago I noticed the trial times all restarted

 

Before enabling it states this:

Trials are at no extra cost. All trials begin on the
original date of purchase or lease of a new
vehicle, with the exception of Wi-Fi. After each
respective trial period expires, enrollment in a
paid subscription is required to access the
respective services. Terms of use apply.

sounds like they really begin once purchased.

 

I hope mine is quicker than that.

 

Looking through this thread and others like it, it sounds like anywhere from 2-7 weeks from port to dealer.

 

Just thought I would post my experience and timeline so far for anyone else looking...

Feb 11th - Ordered
Mar 17th - Loaded on a boat
Apr 1st - Arrived at Long Beach
Apr 6th - Notified by dealer that it has "been processed through port, estimated dealer delivery should come soon"

 

How do you guys track the progress of the car. I was able to get allocation locked in. Was told it was built on 3/24....

 

My saleswoman sends me updates whenever something changes.

 

My salesman sent me this. I inquire about updates weekly now. Nothing new as of 4-4

My sales girl emailed today and told me that Ship Departed yesterday.

 

Did yours arrive yet? Mine left port on 4/5..... this waiting is HARD.

 

Yeah, I still dont have confirmation that mine made it to port. I sent my salesman a message asking if my 4runner was at the bottom of the ocean, and he has still not given me a definitive answer as to what stage of the process we are even at! I will be asking again for a screenshot of the progress. It should have been to port at least by now!

Waiting is hard, but they will be here soon!

 

Got a new update today. Looks like I will have it in about a month!

 

I don't want to get your hopes up, but it shouldn't take 2 weeks to get on the truck after the rail arrives, and it shouldn't take 5 days on the truck. That whole process was maybe 2 days for me.

 

Well hopefully it's an under promise, over deliver type situation. It did take 5 months to get my last 4runner from the assembly date, so I will refrain from hoping for sooner!

 

Looks like I was able to find a Vehicle Carrier. Her name is Adriatic Highway. Left Toyohashi Port in JP on 4/5. Stopped by Canada yesterday and now due to Arrive in Port of Portland at 8.30PM. Right on Schedule.

Last time it made same trip, it was in Portland for 1 day and 16 hours. So It looks like it will get unloaded within Two Days. I will keep an eye on my Toyota App and see if I get an Update on ODO Miles Tomorrow or Wednesday.

 

Docking with a help of two tugs. Just little more wait I hope. LOL
