Awesome. Just downloaded and entered my VIN. where will the info (mileage, etc) show up and what does that signify?

EDIT: Nevermind, I think I figured it out. I've turned on the notifications, and when something happens (door, hatch, etc...) I should get a notification?

 

That's right - pretty much sits until processing (best guess) mine had alerts for a couple/three days and then went quiet again. Unfortunately unless the Remote Connect is fully activated (requires access to the vehicle) you really don't know where it is except through dealer. I did read where someone talked Toyota into activations and they could track whenever turned on (loading/unloading?). Seems like overkill for that effort.

should i be seeing notifs on ORPs as well? they dont have remote capability, which is kinda stupid imo, but would be nice to see how far they are with the processing.

 

Mine arrived this morning and picked it up this afternoon. No price surprises.

For those who are anxiously waiting like I was - this was my timeline:

-Placed a deposit 10/20 for an incoming allocation to an PNW dealer - think it was already on a ship.
-Landed in the Portland port on 11/4
-Got on freight 11/22
-Arrived on lot 11/23

signed all the paperwork and am waiting patiently until 12/6 to pick it up. vehicle technically arrived, but scheduling won't permit until then. took approximately 3.5 months from order to delivery stage.

 

'22 Limited with the 3rd row arrived after 2 months from ordering. Just got it home!

Ordered: 9/18
Built: 9/28
Arrived at port: 11/6
Arrived at dealership: 11/18

 

That was me but it was on a Lexus. Toyota may require you to have access to the vehicle but it doesn't appear that Lexus does as I called in and they emailed me the 6-digit code to activate Remote Connect.

I was able to get a GPS location every time it was turned on and then shut off.

 

What screen in the App shows GPS location? Mine only seems to show notifications/fuel level and odometer

 

It's a map called Last Parked Location.

You have to activate the Remote Connect trials enabled and activated.

 

Notified today that my 4Runner will be at the dealership on 12/5. Hoping that there is no snow in the forecast until after I pick it up and can WoolWax the frame. The DoT loves salty roads.

If its not Pro, it's not going to show anything else as you don't have remote connect.
The app is pretty much worthless otherwise, its only to needed for the S.O.S button in the overhead console. I uninstalled it since it was draining my phone's battery for no real reason lol.

 

that's what i was thinking. people with ORPs in their sig/bio talking about getting notifs is confusing lol.

very weird how they decided to keep the remote feature in only the pro/limited. the hardware is there, why not let people get them? i'm sure there will be enough people that will like it enough for them to make $ on subscriptions in the long run. weird decision imo.

 

Was told 1-3 Dec, now today told 7-9 Dec…. I am getting pretty damned frustrated. It has been in freight status since 4 Nov…

 

Was told this morning that mine is still 9-14 December - we could still end up crossing paths in Tennessee at this rate. I'm at the point where I most just accept it, because I know it's going to happen, but still can't hardly wait

 

Me too, but my problem is that I am “sort of” without a car at this point. I sold my Q7 daily to a buddy back in VA a couple weeks ago with the expectation that this one would be here (terrible decision that my wife constantly reminds me of). We have two young children in car seats and all I have to drive is my 996 Turbo. Wife has her van, but that means she has to do all the heavy lifting. She is active duty too, so there is no house wife here unfortunately…

Sorry to hear that - checked and mine seems to be steady. Amy did say that she will get about a 48 hour notice, but won't actually know until delivered I'm getting pretty antsy over it as well since I wanted to avoid the Christmas travel season...

Hey, new here. My dealer found one i wanted that was going to another lot around Oct. 25th. Was suppose to be at sea and suppose to hit California on Nov 2-4. Found out today my estimated delivery is Dec. 17-22. Hoping no delays! Trading my grey 16 sr5 premium for a 22 grey limited

 

Just got the text, it's arrived at the dealer, and I will pick it up tomorrow.

Build completion - 25 Oct
Loaded onto Ship - 4 Nov
Notified of allocation - 12 Nov
Put down deposit - 15 Nov
Arrived at the port - 1 Dec
Was told to expect it to arrive 13-18 Dec
Arrived at dealer - 10 Dec

 

Lol mine too. Think it got to port Oct 18. Made the STL MO area today. I'm getting it tomorrow

22 ORP with MTM, ppf, and few other options. No kdss but does have sunroof (wish it didn't)

 

It’s done! Contract signed on a ‘22 ORP in AG being delivered 12/27! Trd pro lift, wheels and tires, skid plate, black emblems and roof rack as well as predator tube steps being installed.She’s got a moonroof and I am SO EXCITED!! Went to a different dealership and didn’t get screwed lol.
