Could not agree more! Great rig, rack and bike! So good to have the longer and warmer days to hit the trails in the evening!

Thank you all for the replies. I have received my 2" 1UP Super Duty Double and it looks to just barely fit my bike with the Fat Tire Kit. Hopefully will be able to go riding soon!

Let's see it with that fat bike on the back of the 4R!

10 years of road grime and winter salt has finally caused a failure on my 1Up. I need to replace the 2 strap assemblies- $22 each and I'm all set. By contrast, the 8 year old Yakima that I have that has been used maybe 10 times has a couple of plastic parts that need replacing that are no longer available.

How much does this block your rear backup camera?
    Thanks
Nice bike. Just got a Specialized Stumpjumper Expert.

The 1UP rack with or without the bike on it obscures the backup camera. I don't think the back up camera is that good to begin with so I don't rely on it. My rack is on the 4R 24/7 - 350 days/yr. The 1UP rack is a great rack that I have had for three years and most of my riding buddies are sporting 1UP's as well.

I definitely want to go with 1Up as well but any owners have fenders on their bikes? I’m wondering how well 1Up works with bikes with fenders?

Hey, 1Up has an accessory specifically designed for bikes with fenders. I can't vouch for them. Might want to check out their website.
+ Further back in this thread someone said that you can adjust where the arms hit the tire which seems like it could accommodate the fender.

I really wish someone 1up would merge their rack and swing out arm...separately they stick out so far from the rear of the 4runner. Has anyone had a custom swing out made?

I think it's great. Some noticeable movement in the rearview but it's obviously not going anywhere. Got the Stash mount so will be getting that on the garage wall for storage.
50 degree weather in Tucson. Had fun on the trail.

I’ve used a Yakima World, Thule Apex swingout, and Thule T2 rack. The 1UPs have by far been my favorite.

I initially used the 1UP roof rack (silver) on another vehicle, then bought the hitch adapter for it. I also have a 1UP HD double rack (black). Kinda scary, but my buddy who ordered over a year after me happened to be given the exact same lock/keys as the ones that came with my rack.

Sweet set up! Looks like a great place for winter riding! Cold, grey and wet here in Maryland.

If it would stop being wet and cold here in Missouri, I would be happy to get either the hardtail or the softtail out!
