    I'm not confused. I've run Hella before. I don't have a problem with them. What I'm saying is that the Hella 500 and 700 series lights specifically are an awful choice for a roof light. They use an open reflector design which causes light to spill everywhere. That everywhere when mounted above on a roof means light will be scattering all over a hood causing glare. That is why I'm saying do not put those specific lights in that specific location.
