I know, my girlfriend is helping me so I'm sure this is gonna go as well as a couple moving furniture together.

I swear, my wife is the worst to move furniture with. She does everything exactly opposite of what I would do.

Man the weather in Memphis must of brought FedEx down to its knees. Two delivery appointments missed now. 4Runner hasn't moved since last week when I took the factory rack off haha

Side note got KC's wire hider installed down the windshield. Pretty cool product.

Nah she's dirtier than hell. I think the garage lighting just makes it look clean.

Usually give her a good wash sealant and wax at the beginning of summer.

I work for FedEx and there’s not a whole lot moving through Memphis right now with the weather. I picked a great week to be on vacation. :D

Great time to at least work on the roof area. Once gobi is on, you’ll have little access.

Can you do me a solid and put in a word to reroute that truck directly to me? That would be killer haha

That is something I hadn't considered. Good call, gonna get her protected while she's topless.

I would definitely wash, claybar, wax, and seal the roof before install. I’m just saying that because i want to remove my gobi and do that. I assume my rack has been on there for 4 years, but for my next project I need to focus on that.

the wait is bs... but once you get it, install it, and use it once, you’ll never regret it!

    Super frustrating.

think the most annoying part is my delivery window is between 10 and 1, and FedEx calls every time about 10:15 to tell me that its in Missouri, or Kentucky, or where ever. I don't know any other place that calls DURING the delivery window to tell me its two states away and not coming today.

Can you post a pic from inside looking at that section of windshield? I’m looking at the wire hider to run my scene, main and rear wires through.

Do you mean from the driver seat? Or from where I can see it from inside the cab? From the driver seat in a normal seating position you can't see it.

That answered my question lol. I was worried I’d see and it which would then drive me crazy just ordered from rago. From kc it’s 19.99 plus 10.00 shipping. Awful expensive shipping for a roll of rubber. Rago it’s 11.99 plus 3.00 shipping for the exact same thing.

KC makes a wire hider, basically a rubberized channel you can stick to your windshield or other smooth body work so you don't see wires running from the roof.

No problem! The first thing I did after install was hop in and see if I could see it. If I lean to the passenger side I can, but sitting normally its behind the A pillar completely. I ordered mine from Rago.

wow .. that looks really good. So how many wires can this hold ? I guessing just enough for one light, or anything in series with it ?

Its large enough diameter to hold quite a few wires, it would easily fit at least a subwoofer power cable, and a few other small wires for reference.

What's cool is that its a C shape, so you don't have to push the wires in from one end, you just lift and slide the wires in.

Quite a few. It holds up to 8mm based of kc but I doubt you’ll be stuffing that big up there. I plan on running 3 12-14g wires in it
