    Might be worth noting, the short-nipple valve I ordered from “Industrial Tec Supply” came with a brass hose adapter instead of plastic. (or maybe it was in addition to, I’ll have to check)

    I have the short nipple version on my 2023 OR. Stock skids and of course no clearance issues. Also, I've never had any problems with the drain tube coming off, but as someone else said above, a drain tube isn't really needed since the stream is predictable.
