I have an Iceco ALP55 Dual Zone and power it from a home-made battery box powered by an AGM battery. They take up a lot of room in the truck but most times it is just my wife and I so no big deal. As others have mentioned, not having to deal with the ice in a cooler is a game changer to say the least. I have run it for around 4-5 days off the battery box and there was still juice left. Build quality on it is decent, some issues with the plug block loosening but more an annoyance than anything.

How do you like the Tesota distribution system?

Overall love it, its been running 24/7 no issues for the last 1.5 years even bombing thru whoops and washboard. it has cool features including fuse blown indicator leds which is super nice out at camp for instant read and change.

One thing I did find is smaller gauge cabling may rip out of the very strong wago connector if not properly secured but not the Tesota's fault. I have started to use cable guides and zipties to keep it secure to the panel and crimp on some ferrules for additional bite.

The only thing thats failed me has been the redarc specifically the firmware thats on it and how bad it is with lifepo4 batteries. I often have to fully disconnect it from the system for it to start to bulk charge again. I will be switching it out for a full Victron setup very soon.

The new Victron Orion XS-12 seems like a solid component. I have the older 30A Orion, which is a less efficient and runs warmer. No issues with that, an Epoch 100Ah battery, and an Engel fridge.

I also have the Iceco APL 35 and published a brief on-road review over in the offroad forum on this site. In short, I also got the small magnetic Iceco battery that is plugged in to the 12v outlet in the back to charge as I drive. It ran the refer just fine overnight and charged up to full on the road. I really like the unit. I was not sold at first on the freezer side but after using it I would hesitate to not get a refer without it.

I'm using an Etaker F1000 to keep a Delta 2 charged, due to the solar input. Puts out 300w while driving plus whatever the sun is doing.

Still maintain that swapping Ultra Ice packs in a Yeti once or twice a week was smarter than installing all this crap.
