Food porn!

I burnt it on purpose this time, to make it extra crispy. I put the oven on broil for 3 mins to give it that look.

It's not all the way burnt. It's just....surface burnt!

Always like making country style chicken curry on a cold wet day. I prefer naan bread but goes well with plain white rice too.

Had a New York brick-oven joint open up ten minutes away.

 

I decided to go all out with the "bar food" today. Something to enjoy while watching my Cowboys kick some ass (again!).

Parmesan garlic wings, spicy bbq wings, chips-n-queso (with spicy rotel) and bacon wrapped jalapeno's stuffed with brisket:

 

NICE. Now THIS is the energy I am living for. That dip sounds good. I just bought a bottle of BWW asian zing to use on my homemade wings.

 

A friend of mine bought me one of those Buffalo Wild Wing's packages of sauces. I think it was an 8pk? The wings were cooked in the air fryer. I have the YouTube recipe saved if interested.

The way the guy in the video cooks 'em makes them come out perfect (in my opinion).

 

Yeah, if you dont mind. I tried using my air fryer this last time and they came out super dry... I'll def. take what recipe you've got!

 

I use the Kroger brand plain chicken wings/drums. I make sure they're completely thawed out.

I season them with: 1tsp pepper, 1/2tsp salt, 1 1/2 tsp baking soda (yes, baking soda. That gives the skin a bit of crunch) 1tsp garlic powder.

Home made fajita chicken nacho's & brownies with chocolate chips and pecans.

 

Used our new Blackstone yesterday for the first time and made chicken & steak fajitas. They were amazing!! I can definitely get on board with this whole fad.
Not pictured: I warmed up/toasted the tortillas on it too, and then melted white mexican cheese on the side where the business goes. Incredible.

 

2nd time I’ve done this. French Onion Soup Gratinee. Jacque Pepin’s way. Was fantastic.

 

My go to for colder days. Usually use venison. I use a roast, beans, corn, and tomato. Boils up in 45 minutes non of that overnight crocpot bull shit. Turkeyvis for tomorrow.

Our new family tradition of shredded brisket tacos, we did it last Christmas and liked it so much that we’re gonna keep doing it.

I had left over steak from last night, so I thought....steak n eggs for breakfast!

I had the perfect to-go container to put it in too. Less dishes to wash!

 

Air Fryer cooked steak (Yeah, in the air fryer - this thing is awesome)

Ribeye steak and baked potato with cheese & butter. The steak came out so tender, that it didn't need anything at all. No ketchup, steak sauce, nada. It had just the right amount of marbling and I added some seasoning to it while it marinated.

Cooked to medium.

 

Sounds like a good option for making a steak in shitty weather. Never thought of that.
