The law of physics apply through the whole universe. No matter when and where you are.

but I understand what you mean. We don’t know something exists or think that it is possible until we did it.

Planes were an impossible concept to grasp 400 years ago. Going into space and landing on the moon did not make sense 100 years ago. A motorcycle that can go around a track faster than most people or a “taxi” with no driver was out of the question 50 years ago. All these are now reality though

agreed, it was a comment towards all those against EVs, but defending Hydrogen by saying give it time.

At one point, I wouldn’t even bought a Hybrid, now I own a plug in hybrid.

Imagine if we have up on Computers because they took up whole rooms.

everything is a trade off, and nothing is a one size fits all.

Germany has announced that it is 40% behind plan for EV take up to the point that the projected 2035 ban on ICE production likely will be extended in the EU to 2050.

    Hydrogen would be REALLY nice!
    1) Come on technology and infrastructure. Let's get this done.
    2) I hope a nefarious entity doesn't meddle and kill it. There's lots of bad actors in government, private sector, etc. I'm guessing globalists would hate cheap clean energy lol!
    3) Keep Boeing away....

Some technologies like computing and AI advance faster than others. In 20 years self-driving tech may become so advanced and mainstream, that driving a car yourself might become an esoteric practice, like operating a manual transmission today.

AI is just software, written by a human, and as such is subject to errors and bias. Not the magic that some proclaim it to be. Then there's the sensor side of things. Garbage in, garbage out. Reminds me of the gantt chart club. If we knew all of the variables, relationships, and interdependencies, sure we could make a gantt chart. It might even help things, but it would take a disproportionate amount of time/resources to create it in the first place, and nobody wants to pay for that. Modern education has dulled the mind lol.

No incentive to use hydrogen as it's not controlled by oil/power cartels currently.

I believe there is AI writing code now, and yes Education is not what it should be. BUT, let’s start with society first, I have many many stories of parents not supporting decisions in school. Kids are not held accountable and when schools do, parent come after the school and can never see how their child messed up. And kids don’t know how to work through things, as parents continue to pave the way and remove all obstacles for them.

And education starts and ends every day at home.

Well when the parents are the products of the same indoctrination... One has to understand that the true source false information, intended to control a population, is the government/global elites, and it goes back to the beginning. That "source" feeds all the others (education, news outlets, healthcare, financial, etc.). If one plotted "sheeple people coefficient" vs time, well let's just say it wouldn't be flattering lol. Kids raised in great homes still have to be released into the wild, and are subject to the flawed societal behaviors.

Because batteries have an enemy, time. They die with time. Less battery in a car the bettery. That's why EVs don't make any sense

Ever wonder why the largest promoters of EV's are governments ?

What ever happened to the news about converting the diesel OTR trucks to natural gas ?

It seems the sales of EV's has hit a plateau. I'm guessing it will stay there for a while.

So we have no free thinkers? We all just accept what we have been told as gospel? So, let’s just blame the past, take no responsibility for changing the future.

Lots of things die with time, HUMANS, ICEs, Metal, etc…

but again, why is it Hydrogen is going to great, just give it time, but EVs suck and will never be ok.

As I said previously, there is no one size fits all.

Because EV batteries won't last 15 years. If you drive 10,000 miles a year, your fancy $70,000 Tesla will die in less than 7 years. TIME KILLS BATTERIES. No EV will last more than 10 years, EVER!

If you can squeeze 300k miles out of a Tesla in 5 years, good for you. The vasty majority of us would need at least 15 years for that.

At the rate EVs appreciate, they better hold onto them for 10 years or more to make it worth while.

The scenarios where EVs make the most sense also wear out the batteries the fastest per mile traveled, being stop and go and congested traffic, since the batteries are not just heating up constantly, but also powering auxiliary functions like climate control, onboard computers, etc. There are a number of people who brag about 100k-200k miles on their original pack but they seem to do mostly non stop highway driving and limited by a 250 mile or so range, which a simple Camry Hybrid or even a hybrid Lexus would do far more conveniently and cheaply once you factor in purchasing price and depreciation.

The fact that the gov is NOT pushing hydrogen gives me the feeling it's probably the best option for the working class in the future. But, right now the Bernays template for EVs is envogue.

I do agree people are followers. I took your comment to mean that we cant expect better from people because the parents were indoctrinated and thus are just continuing the cycle. If that’s the case then I’m not sure how we have changed as a society to not have a level of responsibility, or we can go back even further in our history and discuss some of the societal norms that have changed. All I am trying to say, is we have to find a way to move back to some accountability for ourselves, it’s not everyone else’s fault, you can guide your way.

The education system is broken, but I believe communities and help fix it.

both parties are lunatics. Most Americans are in the middle, not identifying with either parties. But the loudest parts of both sides are what drives the agenda. That isn’t what Americans want.

Sadly it's essentially a one party system (uniparty), which makes it very clear that not only do they not represent the people, but actually consider people to be in the way of agenda. There's a few exceptions (patriots) which I'm hopeful will/have been righting the ship. We'll know in November.

    Agreed.

There's nothing inherently wrong with Republicans, Democrats, conservatives, or liberals. Unfortunately, the media only talks about the craziest people on both sides, while most people are more moderate.

And then people watch their chosen political news outlet, and take everything the talking heads say as gospel, while thinking the other guys are the ones that are slanted.

DC is a swamp preying on the population. If indoctrinated, one won't understand this. If not, congrats, you get to see things for what they actually are. You probably possess the abilities of self reflection, pragmatism, and deep dives. If one were to read "1984" or "Atlas Shrugged" they'd perhaps see a few parallels to today's government.

Those 200k miles didn't happen in 15 years, duhm-duhm! There are Prius taxis out there with 400k+ miles averaging 50k+ miles a year. If you don't drive a lot, your hybrid or EV WILL DIE. Time is their biggest enemy.
