Yeah, what I find odd about the increase in tire size comment is that going from a 265 to 285 only gives you an increase of 0.5" in radius size. So in theory, all you would need to compensate for that would be 0.5" of lift.

With cheaper shocks, having the shock limiting my travel wouldn't concern me. With expensive shocks, I'd invest in limit straps.

Just ordered the Stage 2R kit from Headstrong to upgrade my tired old Wheeler's / Bilstein / Eibach hodgepodge... hopefully my experience is as satisfying as some other people's who have posted...

What height did you go with up front ? I want to do 2” front and 1” rear. Yours looks perfect.

I lowered it down some from how Eibach set them. I would guess about 2.25 lift in the front.

I'm considering getting the Stage 2R kit but wanted to ask if anyone has been running the kit in the rust belt region? I live in Minnesota and have seen my Dobinson springs and struts really showing the salty road effects after 5 years.

Would be interested to hear your feedback on the IMS setup vs Eibach.

Eibach Stage 2 lift. Pro front grill. Sound deaden doors, cargo area, and rear tailgate. Diode Dynamics fog lights. Anytime front camera connected to Kenwood head unit. Kicker sub and amp. GX rear bump stop and Energy Suspension front bump stop. FJ cruiser shift knob, rear molle panels, black paint climate control knobs. Sherpa crestone roof rack.
I live in Westchester NY. My Stage 2 fronts has rust on lower threads and collar. I did lower the collar due to high lift out of the box. It has gone through one winter. I did spray fluid film on them but unfortunately it didn't help. Collar won't budge to adjust so it must be removed the shock to do it.

I am looking into get this kit for 2024 ORP. I was wondering if you could share the ride experience in general and long term feedback. Again I am very new to lift kits and new 4Runner owner as well.

    Thanks.

It’s a great kit for the money, been very happy with it. Im not sure it’s the best if you are bombing deserts at high speeds, but for mild off-roading and the street its excellent. I do think it’s important to get UCAs as well, I really like the JBAs. I hated how my 4Runner drove in stock form, this set up makes it much more enjoyable to drive and feel much safer. I felt it was floating and bouncing all over with the factory off-road set up.

Thanks for the feedback. I am getting the JBAs as well. I am looking for light off-roading, weekend warrior kind. Any tips for day-to-day maintenance for the lift-kit parts I need to know, like preventing rust or damage?
