A lot of times you're still able to get your 4Runner back in spec with the 2.75" Eibach lift in the front, but you're probably on the lower end of the caster spec (+2.6 degrees). The truck drives a lot better when you're at the higher end of the caster spec (+4 degrees) and that's impossible to get with a 2.75" lift and stock UCA's.

If you're happy with the way it handles, then you're good. If you wander on the highway a bit and wished the handling was better, then UCA's will help that a lot.

Any one running the Pro Kit that has KDSS? Looking at different builds looks like 3” is the max lift for a vehicle with KDSS. The Pro Kit lift from Eibach is 2.75 upfront which is pretty darn close to the max limit. Anyone having or had issues with it? I’m asking cause I’m about to pull the trigger on it or go 6112’s / 5100’s. Thanks.

No wandering for me while driving. Mine is currently at 2.8% which is within spec of 2.8 to 3.8 (just made it!). At least, that’s the spec range the technician utilized.

Why would you say that KDSS-equipped 4Runners are limited to a maximum of 3" of lift? Not that I plan to lift mine any more, just curious as to where that comes from...I've seen plenty of postings with the Eibach Pro Truck lift on KDSS vehicles.

I did a search and most say max lift is 3”. I’ll try to post a link from Accutune, they recommend not going over 2.5”. Just trying to get some accurate info from guys that actually have the entire kit installed with KDSS.

Ordered the Pro Kit Stage 1 direct from Eibach. I received an email that kits could start being sent out by May 6th. I would imagine 3rd party vendors might be a week or 2 behind that date.

Ordered mine through wheelers.com and I had it in about a week. Price was good as well, just did the email sign up and got 10% off plus free shipping. With assembly it was around $760 all together.

I’m interested in using these rear springs with an ELKA suspension, and I didn’t see that Eibach specified any requirement for a spacer. Is this essential? ELKA engineering is pretty high tech, and doesn’t require any spacers, and specifies KDSS equipped or not. I liked the Eibach rear spring because it only gives 1” of lift, which should be perfect. Btw, does anyone know how this spring is rated relative to the stock spring? If I end up using a spacer anyway, I may as well just put a spacer on my stock springs. I’m hoping the Eibachs will be a little heavier than stock.

Not sure of the exact numbers,i will find them when i get a minute. They are rated heavier then stock. The spacer is for esthetics, IOT take out the lean on the driver side rear.

The front kits specify KDSS or not because of the reservoir mounting location. Very possible you could still have some “lean” if you don’t adjust the compression collar to account for it.

    Rear springs - E30-82-071-01-02 "206 lbs"

Still need to find the stock spring rate.

Finding the stock spring rate is going to be hard. I think you need actual spring measuring equipment to determine this and places that have this equipment don't usually give their numbers up readily.

I tried to find the answer to this a while ago and the answers varied a bit, particularly in the front.

    Fronts ranged from 550 - 600 lbs.

Most people seemed to think the stock rears are around 200 lbs.

Interesting, basically stock with increased length. Hmm. Thanks guys, I really appreciate your help!

The spacer is not required. Some 4runners have the "lean" where it sits lower on the drivers side. Mine is 1/2" lower, my old pro was 3/4". Some runners are smack dab even? dunno why? That 10mm spacer levels the rear ~1/2" if you have the lean

I have seen one or two running 4th gen rear springs, they say it lifts 3/4" . I cannot confirm or deny.

Eibach’s claim of 2.75” & 1” lift is pretty spot on for me. 2 weeks and 100 miles in, no spacers, my DR is about 3/4” higher than the other 3 corners. I think that’s still within Toyota’s spec in height difference. Doesn’t bother me.
