Effect of 6th Gen on 5th Gen Value

That's why I'm buying two. One to drive, and one to garage and use for parts later. Not really.

Yes and no low mileage clean 1st and 2nd gen Tacomas sell for more than what they cost brand new same for 3rd gen 4Runners
Obviously not saying buy a brand new 5th gen and not drive it for 20 years just to sell it as obviously insurance and registration will cost you but a low mileage clean 5th gen trd off road premium or pro i can see going for a lot in 20 years from now

 

That's my hope, only minus the "Premium" part because I wanted cloth seats and no sunroof.

 

Well, we could change the policies that are causing this, so we could have consumer choice, but that would start a politics war here. Sorry. I won't say that. Nevermind.

 

I very likely will not be around by then. People have no idea what awaits them beyond my lifetime. It worries me.

 

I wish I had bought and imported one of the last FJ Cruisers sold overseas long after they were pulled from the US market to sell more Priuses. I couldn't afford it. We will never see that one again. RIP 4Runner. RIP FJ.
