    Thanks. I'm assuming that I cant really cause any damage by trying to continue to hammer it in. It really didn't go anywhere. Just kept bouncing back out.

    Drives great. Or so my wife tells me since she took it this morning since she had to drive down a dirt road for one of her errands.

    You should be fine. It would be difficult to damage the axle trying to get it in further.

    Thanks for your willingness to share your expertise!

    Took it for a drive this evening and ran it in 4wd for a bit as well. Ran great and so much smoother than before the bushing. This fix is 100% worth it!
