"I would suggest having a new cv axle on hand in case it is worn in the area where it mates with the needle bearing. "

This might be my issue. I still have the humming/cyclic noise even after installing my ECGS bushing. But no vibration. I ran my 4runner for about 30-35K miles after lifting before I did the bushing.

I've also experienced something similar after installing my full dobinsons ims. It may not be the exact thing but mine was a very light faint vibration from 40-50mph and it disappears after that. I had my local toyota specialty off road shop and other friends with modified trucks take a look at it and drive it around. They said there wasn't anything wrong with it. Maybe I was just overthinking the severity of the situation since it no longer drove stock.

If you feel continuous heavy vibration you might want to bring it in. Also check alignment

When you experience this vibration, does it go away if you put the transfer case into 4H?

I don’t notice it when I’m in 4H/L. But, I’m also more focused on driving the terrain if I need to activate 4H/L haha. I spoke with some guys from Toyota and they said changing your suspension may increase the sensitivity of the stock gears. Makes a little sense but, I got no way to prove it. Safe driving boss

Find a straight stretch of highway and put your transfer case in 4 hi and drive 40 -60 mph. Most likely noise and vibe will go away.

Which is what I meant, sorry. When you experience the vibration going straight down the street, put it in 4H and see if the vibration disappears...
