The dealer did a small cut on mine low on the bumper/fender, and pushed the fender liner forward and drilled new holes in the liner to hold it there. I have no rubbing, but the lower fender liner/fender bolt hole. Takes when they did it, and the fender pinches in at that point. The cravonos on the inside and not visible, but the fenders have a small “dent” at that location. I noticed it right away, but didn't realize what caused it until I had it apart to install new cog lights yesterday. A v op per cut would eliminate that, but I'm still torn on the profile view even though I live the look head-on.

Ahh is that right eh. Nice, ya I had my off-road shop cut a similar sliver off the bottom of front fender in front of tire, it rubbed there at full lock reverse. And took front mud guards off for good measure. Keep in mind, I went with 9” wide wheels tho.
I think I wouldn’t worry about the pinch/dent you have, probably looks much better than some guys fender liners that that have seen too much heat gun.

I’ve gone a lot crazier with the cutting and chopping since the off-road shop started it, but over all I would definitely recommend the viper cut, have fun and go for it - these bumper covers aren’t forever!
Advice; I would have cut more moderate if I could do it over, and don’t cut too big of a weird curve at the bottom on each side.

This one does this good to me as well, good height and the right side cut looks perfect. I like when folks are able follow the faint body lines down there with their cuts

I had everything mocked up with blue tape and even plugged in my cutting tool! But I "pulled the plug" and decided to wait until the window washer reservoir cover and trim arrive. Now, I have time to fine-tune how I want to trim the bumper. What I mocked up was more modest than the picture I attached, but came in on the side in a similar point. I was planning to cut below the tape in these pictures.

I really need to get this mod done. I like the look on the outside!
Need to figure a good way to make it work with the access hole I have cut for my Winch though. Maybe ill cut a small flap using zip ties as hinges. and can use a small ABUS padlock to secure it.
