Residual Dalton Highway dirt. Dragged that shit to Idaho (where pic was taken) before I couldn't take it anymore.

I love the picture; I built my Runner to do exactly that, but live in the Midwest not that far from you, where there's NOTHING TO DO.
I am ready to run over a lost load of hammers on the highway at this point.

Nah man it's all where you look. To be fair, that pic was taken when I lived in California so the west was my doorstep, but there's good shit everywhere. Get you a DeLorme Gazetteer and a battle buddy and go explore!!! If you actually are close to me (?) I've got some fun routes in eastern Ohio.

Well if you want to take a day and bang around, holler. Good stuff not too far (2 hours).

There's actually some good stuff in Indiana on the River not too far from Cinci, but I've only run it once and don't have good firsthand knowledge of it.

They say ceramic coating helps repel dirt. Never tried it myself.

I have the same on my Gen 3 and the rear window stays far cleaner than on my Gen 5. The Gen 5 just seems to attract dust like mad, especially up into the wiper mechanism. I always try to hose it out after returning from a trip, even when going to the car wash.

I moved from the Midwest decade’s ago and never looked back. One of my best life decisions. :)

It's physics. The airflow immediately behind the truck is flowing TOWARD the truck. Ever see that video of the styrofoam block falling out of a truck on the highway and popping back in?

Yep, just like when stock cars draft behind each other. You can actually see tape or debris flying TOWARDS the car in front due to the vacuum being created.

Moved from the west back to the Midwest decades ago and never looked back. One of my best life decisions. Wages are better, cheaper cost of living, and plenty of water.
