Did I buy a chick vehicle?

Funny, I ended up with a 2021 Tundra 1794 Edition and a 2024 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited 4xe that I lifted and installed 35's on.

I just took the Jeep on a 3000-mile road trip to AZ and back to WA. There is a practice among Wrangler drivers to wave to other Wranglers. It's fun and makes you really take note of other Jeep drivers. Almost all of the stock Wrangler drivers are women, but nearly all lifted Wranglers are driven by men. Most Jeep Gladiator pickup drivers don't wave and are evenly split between either men or women.

I love my Jeep due to the capability, looks, and experience of driving it. I can go a lot more places than the 4Runner could go. I have way more mods for much cheaper than Toyota aftermarket parts.

But, the Jeep gets horrible gas mileage, is slightly less comfy on the highway, and the electronics are glitchy. I'll probably move up to a Land Cruiser in a couple of years.

Indeed. Cant drive no chick vehicle.:angrygirl:

My wife hardly drives mine. She prefers her Corolla SE and says the 4Runner feels like a tank. I think the mods help...
    Works for me.

Ducks are a Jeep thing. I proposed turtles for 4Runners, but it hasn't really taken off. :D

I went to the Toyota website and looked for the 'Male/Female/Unisex' filter, but I'm not seeing it.

Dude. You need to ditch your girlfriend. (KIDDING!!)

It's pretty much a 50/50 split of male/female 4Runner drivers in my area.

My daughter attended University of Tampa, both for her BSN and MSN. I was always amazed at the amount of crazy-expensive cars in the student parking garage, many with plates from Dubai and other UAE countries.

I'll have to take a picture after work. The first one wound up there as a joke, but then it ended up staying. Then, last year on a trip, one of the guys brought a bunch of little turtles as a joke.

I thought it was nice of him to joke-gift those to everyone. I’m not a duck guy, but it’s got a home in my otherwise useless cubby under the radio lol. I was half thinking of mounting it on a rock, turtled. Which seems to be my favorite way of getting stuck.

    upload_2025-2-3_12-8-58.jpg

Back on topic, the 4runner isn’t a chick vehicle. Unless the only guy vehicle is a diesel Ram pickup. Then I guess by default it’s a chick vehicle. Then again, I’ve seen a lot of chicks in coal rollers too. Which is kinda hot, especially when they’re climbing in an out. What were we talking about?

Soo someone should definitely contract some artwork of a turtle "turtled out" on a rock and get some stickers made.
    I'll take two.

That pic reminds me of a group of H1 owners on our Adopt-A-Trail. Every one (5) of them had to be winched through our gate keeper and several other rock gardens on the trail.

Elements are pretty neat vehicles if you ask me, mostly because of what Honda did with the interior packaging. The exterior is another story, but they got better once they color matched the quarter panels.

We bought my 23 OR for my wife, but after a while it became mine. She missed heated seats, heated steering wheel, and did not like shifting in and out of 4wd, and never touched those knobs (crawl control, MTS, TC). So i traded my truck for a vehicle for her, a 24 Acadia AWD AT4, and I took possession of a 23 OR. My only mods are tires and shocks. Road trips are in her car, and backwoods cruising is in mine.
