They say it's just a little extra that makes the difference between ordinary and extraordinary!

bm ? Bumper ? Ohh I had to trim like 1/2” and push the liner 1/2”. This is the second time I had to cut and push. I did like 1/4” when I first got lifted and the 285’s.

Sorry, the body mount right beside/behind the front mudflaps. Looks like u still have the mudflaps on from the pics.

I didn’t feel any thing rubbing near the bm. I’ll take a closer look tomorrow. Yes mudflaps are still on. Passenger side has a small flap rub, might have to dremel that area.

I just bought a set of these but haven't installed yet. Is this a common issue? Seems like it would be easier to resolve now before install. Thoughts?

I read about it on another forum. Many have complained for leaking boots and the 2nd washer addresses the issue. Until there’s a boot redesign, all we can do is request another washer from JBA. I held off my install because I waited for the 2nd washer set.

Nicely done @Daytonaviolet. I just purchased a limited as well for some of the same reasons. Now i need to fix the exterior look. The full front bumper is something I will need to start looking for.

Installed the JBA UCA today. The red UCA matches well with the TRD springs. Ignore the initial value as the tech aligned it twice and lost the real initial value.

I felt like the hatch area lighting was not bright enough. So I added these Amazon LED’s. After some minor trimming, I was able to add two led boards per side.

What size tires were you running when you were running the Cornfed set-up?

I’m still running the Cornfed. Tires are 285/70/17.

Any rubbing or issues before the spacers? I have the TRD Pro stock suspension on my '17 and I am looking at adding the Cornfed or similar spacers. Thinking 275 70R17's with no wheel spacers.

I ran 285 70R17 on my 2014 Tacoma and I was pretty against the idea of spacers at that point, but I just can't get away from how well the Pro rides stock and I want to be a little more mild than my lift on the Tacoma.

i actually never ran the 285’s until after I swapped to the trd pro suspension and Cornfed spacers. They all went on same day.
but I didn’t drive my friends pro without the Cornfed. To me, it rides the same with or without the Cornfed.

I think with 275 or 285 it will fit without lifting. You’ll just need a lot of of caster and trimming of the bottom part of the bumper and then push the liners forward.

I'm thinking I want to go with a very minimal lift/level and 275 70R17's. I'd really like to avoid cutting, trimming, or substantial alignment adjustments.

I think you’ll be fine with the 275’s and stock pro height. It depending on your caster, you may get a slight rub on your front flaps. You can either increase the caster (has no effect ok tire wear), flatten the flaps with a heat gun or just remove the front flaps.

I really do like your stance. Love the idea of taking the Limited to Pro status. Ton of work, well done.

I'm going to do some research into leveling kits/suspension spacers. I'm sure there are other options other than Cornfed.

Thanks for the kind words. If I were to do it again, I would look into Westscott Design. They make a spacer lift which utilizes the bottom perch. It doesn’t even look like a spacer. Unfortunately, they were not around last year when I was finding all my parts.
