I’ve been running the ICS mount for a few months and have been really happy with it. No wobbling or vibrations with the phone and iPad mount. Like that I can still see the clock and other info

Pulled the trigger on the Rago. Also ordered some Bulletpoint arms and device mounts. Prolly install Friday evening.

I went with the Alpha-Foxtrot. I haven't mounted it yet, but I like the size & it will be perfect for mounting my CB radio.

You will need to order the base and arms also.
I also ordered a few pieces from 67 designs also.
Received the Bulletpoint stuff today and it holds an iphone in a case really well. Look forward to checking out the 67 Design stuff also.

Finally got around to installing everything.

I ordered about ten 11m antennas and after trying them all, settled on a K40 which gave me the broadest frequency capability with an SWR of 2.0 or less. Lowest is 1.5 at 27.205. 2.0 at 26.655 & 27.855.

Ran 18' of low-loss RG8. Used an existing hole (perfect size) to mount the antenna base. Took the time to relocate my license plate/back-up camera while I was at it. Having too much time on my hands and with my SWR/PWR/Tuner lying around, figured I might as well install that as well.

Installed a speaker behind the rear-view mirror using 50lb double-sided tape. Fit there like it belonged from day 1.

No regrets (yet) on the relocation or the radio & bracket.

Forgot to mention that I trimmed about 3/16" of an inch off the opening to see the clock better and hopefully store my reading glasses there as before. Better for the clock, still a no-go on glasses storage.
