Where did you purchase the TPMS? In your opinion, is it worth installing?

    I have the T9? in my 4runner.
    Great thread learning allot.
One questions, do the car play and pandora spotify apps work via bluetooth? Or plugged in.
Basicaly, can I put the Pandora app on, then log in via wifi. Then while driving down the road, use my bluetooth from the phone and operate it on the screen?

Where cab you get the OEM USB adapter? My car had this head unit installed when I bought it.. But it is missing the adapter. I assume this is to allow my USB/AUX to work

Does anyone have trouble with a blank grey screen when trying to play videos, whether through the google or youtube apps? During my initial install I got it to work but now when I try to run a video, I can hear the audio and have all the functionality of the touch screen but can't see the video. It's just a grey screen. I don't think its a safety feature bc I can't get it to work even when the engine is off..

FYI: new Dasaita Android 11 head unit for 4Runner.
This looks to be the same hardware as MAX10. Android 11 is not available on Scout or Vivid platforms. I asked if a MAX10 can be flashed/upgraded to MAX11, and Dasaita support via chat replied no.

Anyone hook up a front camera with their head unit? I hit up a few trails this weekend and could really use a front camera. I also have a Switch Pro 9100, not sure if this would have any impact on the install.

Anybody get the Dasaita Android 11 yet? The Dasaita website has mutliple version (vivid, max) but I can't figure out the difference or even see the color. What am I missing?

Been having some slight static issues with the head unit lately. Anyone else experiencing static when they mute the radio or even while driving and listening to music via Apple CarPlay?

Statis is probably poor bluetooth connection.. If you can use a aux cable, see if there is a change.
Using an aux cable is a big difference in sound quality on my unit.
Also try raising and lowering volume on phone, and see if it changes.. These headunits have a weak bluetooth receiver.

I installed the Vivid11 Yesterday in my 2015 Trail. After some hiccups (didn't connect the rear camera properly & apparently the adaptor i bought to use the factory GPS antenna wasn't the right one) I got it going with the help of friends.

This was the adaptor I got which Reddit had said worked with the 10... but I can't figure out where it would with the 11. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01K03PORU?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details

Anyway. Everything seems ok so far, but wireless carplay has a lot of audio skips which is disappointing since I use my phone a lot for music (not streaming, Mp3 on phone). I assume I'll just have to get used to plugging it in when I get in the car which isn't the end of the world! The screen itself is really nice and clear and responsive.

    So
So you got the factory GPS working with that same adapter?

I did not, it comes with 3 cables. 1 for the xm radio, and 2 possible ones for gps, and i cant figure out at all were they might go. The coax style gps input on the head unit doesnt look like it fits anything in that package. What does it look like on the vision10 i wonder…

I purchased the dasaita unit with Max 10 installed. I upgraded it to vivid 10. It is much cleaner looking. I installed the front camera and it works flawlessly. I can switch between front and back camera through the installed fcam app.

So I installed vivid11 last night. Here are a few things that don't work quite right but I really haven't' had much time to work on.
    1. The button to make phone calls on the steering wheels mutes the radio and doesn't activate the voice commands for making phone calls. Couldn't figure that one out on the Zlink app.
    2. When I receive a phone call it I can't hear it ring over the car speakers
    3. I turned on the guidance lines on the backup camera but they curve the opposite way
    4. The backup camera quality is very grainy
    5. Not sure how to hook up the Android Auto USB cable.
    6. The NAV app says its reading coordinates but doesn't show anything on the map, just the little target on a blank map.

Which is the right canbus for the 4runner?

Like I mentioned I still have to read the instructions and maybe do more googling but the issues above is what I noticed within an hour of installing the radio.

Overall this is still a major improvement over my stock radio which was doing all kinds of stupid things.

Sorry, no. I have not encountered any of those issues. My buddy just installed one yesterday and no problems on his end either.

I had to pick the RAV4 canbus

Where are you? Maybe someone close can help.

I'm having the exact same issue. Installed my head unit two days ago and am not able to use the phone buttons on the steering wheel, the voice control button also mutes the radio. I haven't been able to figure the problem out, have you found a solution?

Not yet, been scouring the internet for solutions.

Did you guys go into the steering wheel setting on the headunit and the CarPlay settings? I know some had to play with them in both setting options.

I went through the steps in this video and it made it so I could setup all of the buttons. They all seem to work now except for the voice command button. Also, I noticed if my phone is connected to carplay it will not allow me to connect to normal bluetooth features on the stereo, which eliminates the phone buttons on the steering wheel. Looks like the only option is to be connected to carplay all the time for phone calls. I can live with this outcome since the point of the head unit was to have carplay.

To those having this issue, go to settings, car, factory settings (password is 126), go to the others tab, and change wheel button assignment from SWC to canbus. Save, exit, and go to wheel key setup, and you’ll have to map out each key manually but then it works fantastic! I set the voice control button to the SECOND mic icon in the list on wheel key setup, then mapped it to Siri in zlink, but all the rest of the keys worked fine after mapping. It’ll also let you choose short press versus long press actions for each key.

I'll try that. Biggest issue I have is I can't connect to zlink. I reinstalled vivid11 to the newest version and updated MCU.

I had to remove it from my paired devices on my phone and reconnect a few times, as well as manually set the device to a head unit on my phone if I’m remembering correctly. It took some playing with but once I did get it connected it’s been solid. Only issue is I have to sometimes disconnect from Bluetooth and reconnect to get CarPlay to start, but it’s not a big hassle.
