Years ago, some knucklehead in NJ succeeded in getting the custom plate "TEMP". Soon he was being dunned by municipalities throughout the state for thousands and thousands of unpaid tickets.

I dont have a strong opinion on personalized plates vs. not... but why the hell would an item specifically designed for identifying a vehicle be allowed to say "::HI::".

"Oh yeah officer the plate number was like four dots, an H, an I and like four more dots...?"

I love personalized plates. For two reasons: 1. If you're going to have a 72-sq-inch "sign" on your truck, you might as well pick what it says. 2. They're easier to remember.

My latest personal plate: Before Toyota launched the Tacoma, there was the "Pickup."

Off of my old 1968 Vette. 427cu in 400hp. That thing would scoot.

The neighbor lady has a '71 Vette, 454-450, 4-speed. She also has 2 more, an '09, ZR1, supercharged 6-speed and a '23. They all have personalized plates with some reference to speed.

I have a custom frame with "More like" on top and "Amirite?" on the bottom in my cart, to get 4FUNR plates. I wanted More Funner but the plate I want is limited to 5 and MRFNR was a no. Other vetoed ideas 0RUNS and 4RNHB.
OP - what about 3VOM (MOVE in a rearview)?
