The gaps are present on the official Toyota garnish as well. Look at any Pro closely and you'll see em.

Nice to know! I was parked next to a Pro the other day... Didn't think to look. It was outfitted with so many accessories to look at. Hood mounted ax, jack and traction. Roof top tent , hatch mounted spare tire and cans. Probably more than I remember. Funny thing is, nothing on it looks used. Never off road? I'm not sure, but it was like new super white.
    Beautiful man.

Everybody knows that stuff is for decoration! Never take any of it off of the truck at any time, even when you're at the supermarket.

My opinion, which isn't worth two cents over the internet. Don't put the TRD on there. It's like putting a Z28 badge on a six cylinder Camaro. Pull the chrome SR5 and leave that spot bare.

I agree with Vonhetzer on not putting a TRD on a non TRD model that’s cheesy. The SR5 in black and red may look cool I don’t know I haven’t seen that before. It’s always safe to just plastidip it black. Black always looks nice. I did black and red on my off road.

To be constructive I do have two SR5 black overlays I can donate to your cause. I would think it would only be a couple bucks to ship them.

To be honest, I'm not a big fan of blacking out the badges completely. Just not my thing for whatever reason. I might go with a gunmetal gray.

I really appreciate the offer though. Thank you.

I am repainting my TRD color matched to the TRD red from my wheels. The red I have now isn’t bright enough like the normal TRD is.

Got my non OEM pro grille painted and installed. Turned out great as far as I’m concerned. Definitely worth the $139 dollar price tag.

I have a Black TRD Offroad Premium. I’m considering Plasti dipping the valances black along with blacking out the lettering/logos. But wondering if anyone has seen a rig with colored grill. I think a red grill would look cool with all the black panels. It would be nice to see the actual grill.
