Very easy. Hardest part was having to crawl around under truck from side to side. Didn’t use any ramps. Just used my floor-jack to raise each plate into place. Did it by myself. If it was on a lift you could do it in less than an hour easy.

Sigh... still $250 shipping for front skid alone to my zip code. Terrible.

$320 to get one to me. That's a big pill.

Shipping weight with pallet was 100lbs. Pallet is at least 25-30 lbs.

@cbioffroad should stop with the truck giveaways and cash giveaways like advertised on Instagram. If they quit that shenanigans maybe they would be able to lower the outrageous shipping costs??

(my 2 cents don’t count for much. This was kind of like a shower thought.)

HANK, yes I named him. 2018 TRD OffRoad.
Always a work in progress. Pretty sure I buy some new gadget every time I head out on a trip. Kings w/bypass shocks. Total Chaos upper and lower control arms. Shock Seals rear springs. Method Wheels. BFG All Terrains. SSO front bumper and roof rack. Cali Raised ditch lights and rock sliders. Heise light bar on bumper. Aftermarket roof rack light bar. PCI Radio. RAM mounts for various gadgets. ARB dual air compressor. RAGO battery and secondary battery mounts. Dometic fridge and slide. Auxiliary battery for the fridge and gadgets. CVT Mt Hood RTT. Rago cargo storage panels. Westcott rear hatch ladder. Upgraded rear hatch shocks and rear amber from Amazon, Anytime backup FRONT camera with switch. Lots of trail racing stripes. :(
I was at Cali Raised Offroad yesterday to order the CBI skids. I don't recall the weight but they did say the steel were 70# heavier than the aluminum. Not sure if that is just the front, or the full skids. I ordered the full skids in aluminum though.

    Update on my skid purchase.

I went with the victory4x4 aluminum skid. It fits perfectly with kdss (especially my application with treaty oak kdss spacers). Best part is shipping doesn’t cost the price of a second skid plate.
