I am getting conflicting information on what models this will fit. I have a set for my 5th gen SR5 but will they also fit my 16 limited?

I ordered a set of CR cat shields, but was not able to add the extra bolt set to my initial order for some reason. I'll see when the shields arrive whether I think they're preferable over the oem bolts and deal with it then. Unless @jake long15 has a way of me ordering a set, and sending them with my order when it ships...:D

It's just the perspective in which the photo was taken. If you look at the drivers side photo, you can see the front drive shaft. Imagine laying under your 4runner on your back, with your feet towards the rear of the vehicle and you are looking up. If the photos were side by side it would make sense. Good shots of the coverage though. And shows the access to the front drive shaft for greasing.

It’s a bit premature, as the website says 3-4 weeks lead time, so I’ll wait a bit longer, thanks.

As an FYI to anyone considering ordering these, they seem to be a bit backed up. As I approached the 4 week point in time from ordering (website states 3 - 4 week turnaround), I reached out to Cali Raised to see if they had a status update on my order. This was the response I got last week:

    upload_2024-2-12_14-53-56.png

Popular item lately, it would seem. I'm hoping to see the shipment confirmation sometime this week.

    Hi Jake.

I did contact info@caliraisedled.com once again yesterday, and received a response this morning. It seems my order will be delayed at least another week. If these don't ship by next week I'm going to cancel the order.

Has anyone able to successfully install the Cali Raised cat shield on a 4Runner Limited trim with X-REAS? I really, really want this cat shield but have been put off by the warning on Cali's website that this does not fit the Limited or TRD Sport models.

Too bad I'm in the next state over...I'd bring them over and we could do a test fit.. What is it about X-REAS that prevents these from fitting? Are there hydraulic lines or something in the area where these mount?

Millercat has 3 separate versions - standard, KDSS, & X-REAS. Certain components of their shield are shaped differently.

X-REAS has hydraulic lines that run along the frame near the engine skid plate. There is a YouTube video showing how to remove the X-REAS system. I captured two screenshots from that video showing the hydraulic lines. I studied many Cali Raised cat shield installation photos and it's bit difficult to judge whether it will clear these hydraulic lines.

Installed Saturday. A word to the wise - put the front wheels up on ramps. You'll thank me later. I did it without doing that, and am paying the price.

Quality pieces, I have to say. I can't see anyone wanting to mess with getting past these.

Anyone had issues w the driver side shield rattling? I had to drop it down a bit…to prevent the cat resting on the shield….and the security bolts could be 5 mm longer.
