I like the black with the silver letters the best, and sometimes think about converting my 4R to that grille setup. I feel like if I did that, the silver valances would definitely have to go, they'd stick out like a sore thumb with the new grille look. I don't really mind them now because there's not that much silver on the vehicle, and they sort of go with the custom billet Toyota sombrero I had made custom for mine. The photo below is before the custom emblem, but it's similar, just billet aluminum instead of chrome plastic...

I'm too lazy to change everything out.

It honestly wasn’t hard other than I was nervous pulling the upper off the vehicle.

the lower valance comes off really easy the clips are just little slide clips that you have to depress on one side and can easily remove them with one hand but if ur out of shape and a little round like me the tiny sit up you have to do gets to you lol ‍‍

The good news is that small gap, while hardly noticeable, is just enough to keep that cover piece from rubbing the white paint on the sides...that gap would be almost invisible on a black or MGM grille..

My first one did the same thing but on the left side. I emailed them and they sent me a replacement no questions asked. Second one I added more 3M tape and it still slightly is not flush on the left side but not nearly as bad as the first.

Right it would be invisible. I thought about putting some matte black vinyl on the edges of the white underneath but never did
