    Collinite NO 845 INSULATOR WAX.
Long story short from Griots to Nexxet to Meguiar’s to 300 dollar polymer sprays absolutely nothing on planet earth shines and biggest part PROTECTS your car like Collinite products. In 1994 senior year I worked at Illinois Porsche, Ferrari dealership in Hinsdale Illinois and the detail guy who had to put these 100k plus cars near the road especially nearing salt snow season would put this on, real ornery old guy hated everybody so he'd never talk ANYWAYS I said how can you keep the snow plows slush, sadly crap from nearby interstate off these cars and how are they still glowing blah blah blah just wanted to see if he'd even acknowledge a porter plus I was curious ANYWAYS THIS old guy tossed a bottle of crap which was Collinite 845 and mumbled "A Condor could crap all day long while pouring salt on your hood and it wouldn't touch the finish kid" something like that, all I caught was the condor crapping and the bottle. But For 22 years from 1998 to last March I've used it ONCE in the fall yearly and my paint unlike 99.9% of every other vehicle in Chicago's hell hole of salt slush and potholes looked brand new I kid you not the shine is like a mirror. I sound like a salesman but it's honestly untouchable in every single way. It was originally developed to protect power line wires in severe weather or some crap in the 20's and the company that makes the line of waxes operates in what looks like a shanty in Jersey.

Collinite 476 paste wax is even better. But it’s a little harder to remove.

Collinite NO 845 is the bomb, after iron x (especially on a white vehicle) and clay bar of course.

Personally on all my vehicles I like Meguiars#7 polish first (hand application) followed by either Mothers Pure Carnuba Yellow wax or lately as another post mentioned the Meguiars Ultimate liquid wax. Man that Megiars Ultimate Liquid wax goes on and off easy and lasts a while. Meguiars sent it to me on accident when I ordered polish and I called them and they said keep and try it; well they got me because now I buy it :)

Earlier poster was right, if you wash and maintain yourself regularly you are doing better than most. Myself, its a hobby for me so I wax everything every two months. But its a good way to drink a beer in the garage when I am not fishing. Good luck and enjoy.

I heard Collinite is good for boats also.

I think choosing a wax is sort like a guy and his beer. We all have our favorites :)

Turtle Wax has really upped their game.
I’m curious to know if someone scooped them up recently, recognizing the value in the brand, and seeing the potential of the new tech emerging in the detailing world.

They are making some legit products.
