Best Angle for 4Runner Picture?

Sucks when a diesel sounding motor has the keyless crap. I hate it so much I contacted the dealer senior technician to get rid of it. He said it will be like rebuilding the truck, will cost thousands and will not be like as if it came from the factory

 

I noticed that with iPhones, sometimes they look like they got a big head. But this pic of mine is pretty decent.

Another thing with the spoiler, if you’re camping inside, the spoiler allows you to roll down the window quite a bit for ventilation, without water getting inside if it rains. As long as it’s not raining sideways.

 

4th is by far the ugliest gen, hideous beast.

I like the front 3/4 view, especially when the light is right to show off the body lines. I think the flared fenders look really good when the light hits them.

Thanks for all the input! I think the consensus is that it's the front corner. Anywhere from around 10 o'clock to 11 (or 1 o'clock to 2 on the passenger side). A few side on and fewer still rear corner. A lot different than my Supra where it's all about the rear end of that car. Only a picture or two upwards to make the truck look taller but not a lot.

I'll try and come back when I get a little sun on a weekend here in Dallas. Any Dallas members know a pseudo offroadish (my truck is newer than my balls are big ) place I might get a photo that's a short jaunt from town?

Well, I kinda take it back. Sometimes a front quarter pic works on current 4runners as long as you’re not too close. And I think a little tire angle is needed to draw attention away from the insectoid eyes lol




Regardless, OG 5th gens are still the perfect 4runner aesthetically if you as me, especially the Trails with the roof rack rails and black flares.

 

I agree with that sentiment. Pre facelift 4Rs are very slept on.
