    Which brackets did you end up using? How did they hold up? Im looking to do something similar with some light my wife bought me for Christmas.

    I used the brackets shown on above post. I think they are extra brackets for our wooden bed. They are not super solid had some vibration on dirt roads. So I used 2 steel zip ties to the power steering cooler pipe. Now it seems good.

    I'm not sure what is the thread size but the head was 8mm. It was left overs came with the nilight pods I purchased some time ago.

    M6-1.0x16 mm seemed to work for me. I also used the brackets mentioned in a previous post from HD. Super strut 4 hole 90 degree strut.
