Atrac question

I’m not really sure if “AI” is something to be scared of on its own. But I am scared of the Zuckerborg hoodie crowd and google types that are pitching this crap as a way to reform society so everything is free, nobody has to work, and everybody can stay home and become “better” versions of themselves. These people live in the weirdest fairyland…if they actually believe their own pitch. And they’re making a tool which supposedly they don’t even understand? Not sure I believe that part though, since claiming ignorance of how it works just seems like a way to avoid responsibility for what they are making.

I understand a tool is a tool. “AI” probably is not much different. But supposing it’s a tool, like a chainsaw is, you probably would bear some responsibility if you heavily marketed an “easy to use” chainsaw to society at large, and then decided to proactively and aggressively give millions of them away for free to anybody that wanted one, including children. Heck, let’s stand at the corner of the school house and give them to the kids as they file into school. Consequences be damned.

 

Same, if it's going to get tough i'll inguage A-Trac to get through then turn it off. If its a sketchy long run i'll engage my rear locker.
