Anyone know how to turn off the eco light green indicator on the dashboard of a 2023 4Runner?

It seems to shift differently, but that could just be in my head. It seems to hold gears a little longer. And, I believe it engine brakes rather than coasting, but I'm sure I'll get corrected if I'm wrong.

It's official. Took a trip yesterday, and tried the S mode experiment. As soon as you shift to S (it of course goes to S4), the ECO light disappears, which we all knew. I shifted to S5, no ECO light reappeared. I'm pretty sure ECO is disabled while in S.

It's interesting how triggering the eco indicator can be.

If the light said "Power Boost" I guarantee it would be universally loved.

    Oooh look, another mod.....
I have my light manually disabled. It never comes on; even when I'm driving like a super-conservate grandpa who's trying to hyper-mile.

Manually disabled via the display change procedure?

Correct. I don't remember if I went into the infotainment section or the instrument cluster, but I have it turned off.
