Everybody posts pictures of full bottles. Mine never make it home full. Rarely they don't make it out of the parking lot full.
Some people might say I have a drinking problem but I don't have any problems drinking. It's rather eashy.

I'm usually stuck being the designated driver, but I'm cool with that. Not much of a drinker. Like a good English or Irish beer - still pissed Whitbread is no longer produced. Drank a lot of that in my college days at the Old 76 House in Bergen County, NJ.

I will, however, spark up a doober on a fairly regular basis. Mellows me out and takes off the edge of everyday life.

Just got back from Fiji, got to try "Fiji Gold" and "Fiji Bitter Beer". Bitter Beer reminded me of PBR. Exchange rate is about 2 to 1 for the American Dollar.
Great experience, long......flight. Out and back to LAX which was an adventure in itself. Fijian people are genuinely friendly. "Bula" is the greeting.

Are G4 and Ocho much better than those Don Julio tequilas? I usually buy alcohol at costco or sams club so there are less selection. They do have Don Julio 70 there which I was looking at picking up; I have a few bottles of the blanco. Also wanted to try a bottle of 1942. I know that tequila reddit would probably mad that I think the kirkland anejo/reposado/cristalino tequilas actually aren't bad lol.

Better is a matter of personal preference. G4 is probably my favorite Blanco. I haven't tried their Reposado or Añejo. I've had the Ocho Añejo and Reposado, and thought both were very good!

Don Julio 70 is a good Cristalino, IMO. I'd certainly buy it again. I'm not certain I've tried the 1942, but I imagine it's good.

I agree with you James, and the $160.00 price on the 1942 puts it way out of my price range, although I did try some and it was pretty damn good.

Thanks! I figured that taste is pretty subjective once you get beyond a certain level of quality. I know its pretty mainstream but my favorite blancos are patron and don julio. I do have cheaper ones like hornitos and the costco brand mainly if I just feel like having a drink that doesn't need to be fancy. I am definitely open to trying other good quality tequilas but used to mostly drink whiskey.

You're welcome! It's definitely worth experimenting. I've tried expensive ones that haven't done anything for me, and reasonably priced ones that I really like. I might try some of the Kirkland for a mixer sometime. I've been liking Tres Agaves for a mixer. And, I honestly don't mind Cuervo Silver for Palomas and Margaritas.

I have tried all off the kirkland varieties. I don't care much for the blanco as it is pretty harsh and the last time I had it I woke up sleeping in my friends' yard. I am impressed with their anejo and reposado. I just got their cristalino and tried some but have';t experienced it enough to say if it's great or not.

Bought the 1942 today but don't plan to open it till my birthday. I will be out camping though for the next week and maybe open a regular bottle of don julio or casamigos blanco out there.

Having a larger glass of the Kirkland brand cristalino on the rocks tonight to give it a good taste test. Up front it tastes smooth and clean. At the end it does have a straight up alcohol aftertaste though like grey goose but no harsh burn, so I would consider it decent. Not the best but a good bang for the buck and I would drink it again though I prefer their anejo and reposado more.

The Blanco, Christalino’s take a little getting used to, but I have been drinking them for awhile now, and really enjoying them.
