Any 2023 TRD Pro owners running Eibach lift springs?

The new WD 2" front lift and 2" Icon springs in the back may do the trick

 

This is Eibachs test vehicle with the 23 springs. Looks nose high compare to my SO.

 

Any weight in the back and it's going to be squatting. I wish they kept the previous measurements.

 

Yeah that’s borderline nose high already. Anything whatsoever in the back and it definitely will. This change makes absolutely no sense to me. They should have kept the original lift height or at least make it an option.

 

Pictures don’t lie. I have to agree makes no sense.

 

This had to be designed for those who will be adding weight to the front. That’s what Westcott did with their new higher lift up front. Disappointing for sure. I guess I will give the Westcott lift some more thought. Still shocked Eibach is telling people no other mods are needed to run that much lift up front.

 

Average weight in the back shouldn't squat the rear. Eibach springs have a higher spring rate then stock.

 

Can anyone who installs the new spring kit please post your lift spec from the center of hubs to the fender for reference?

 

I’m surprised no one has posted yet with the new springs. When I spoke with Eibach of 2 weeks ago the guy told me they sold 6 sets so far and there were about 30 sets in stock from the first batch. Seen no one yet on Facebook post yet either.

 

I hope they realize they went too aggressive up front and come out with a revision to bring that front down some. Wishful hoping.

agreed 100%, which is why their change in lift kit between the 2021-2022 and 2023-2024 makes no sense to me. I believe a little rake is good.

 

Bummed to hear this, as I just picked up a 24 pro and was told the Eibach springs would be the way to go. Now I’m leaning Westcott.

Just getting up to speed on all this, but the posts have been a big help. Any thoughts / recommendation for a basic entry road setup?

I’m thinking WD 2” front kit, Dobinsons rear 1.75 - 2” coil springs (C59-505), Dobinsons billet UCAs and 285 K02s. Hoping for a good ride for a dd and a level stance able to clear the 285s w no bmc. Appreciate any advice or input!

 

1rst gen Pro spring set with a small 3/8 top spacer, it's smaller than the 1/2 spacer Westcott uses.

Yup, and drives perfect with 2 deg caster, no wander at all. I was of the thinking I can always add them if it does drive any worse or wander. Why not try it and see, ya might save a pile of cash otherwise spent for nothing! I can tell NO difference in the way it drives on or off the highway, and as someone who's done hundreds of alignments, I would know.

 

I’ll keep you posted as I’m expecting to head down this path.

heard good things about Dobinsons in regards to reliability and not requiring as much maintenance because it's an OE style sealed ball joint.

He also put 275/70r17. he could fit 285/70r17 easily in there.

 

These new Eibach springs have been out long enough. But no one is posting yet with the both front and rears springs. Not even seeing any on Facebook. The pic I posted from Eibach is definitely too high in the front compared to my westcott.

 

Yeah it’s just too high in the front for me. I don’t need that much lift and it just looks off to me honestly. I also bet he ends up having alignment issues and drive issues until he gives in and gets UCAs.

 

Here you go, installed yesterday at Apex Overland. On the alignment rack the vehicle set perfectly level. I did change UCAs like all of you, didn’t see by it being smart to not. Stock tires so looks like missed leg day a lot. First/before next set after.

 

Thanks for the pics. Maybe it’s me, but the front looks a little too high relative to the back. The back would benefit from another 1” of lift IMO

Yeah I agree, about 1/2" less in the front, it may settle a bit though, mine did. Hub measurements please.

 

There are 100 factors that affect the pics. When I first saw it thought same thing. I drove the chase car 90 miles home and can tell you from an enthusiast and OCD patient, I liked the way it looked in the wild. Someone has to be the first to put new things on or how else will we judge. I am not one to say it’s great just because I spent money. There will also be settling. I do need to load it up and see if I get a reverse rake. If it happens full lift goes in. For $500 I was willing to take a chance. Not disappointed!

 

I think that worst case, you can replace your rear springs. Per the website, it’s a total 3.5” front and 1” rear vs a stock non-TRDpro model.

Definitely appreciate the pictures and honest feedback. I think it confirms a couple things for me. It’s not the lift style for me personally because I like to have some rake to my vehicles and UCAs definitely are needed. Very confusing why Eibach would actively pitch this as not needing them.
