No problem. So after having the Eibach lift on it. I’m reading from the hub 22.75 front and 23.75 rear. It has settled but I’m good with it. The ride is smooth and alignment numbers are good. And no rubbing on the mudflaps with my 285’s.

So as you all may know from my previous posts, I stuck with the WD...mostly because I felt the Eibach 1.4's were an unknown with my wheel and tire setup (285 and TRD Pro Wheels..some issues on the webs) on the '24, but also because I had WD already installed. WD has been pretty decent. Really no complaints. I typically drive by myself. However, I recently noticed that with someone ~125lbs and above in the passenger seat of the vehicle, I do rub at hard right turns with braking. In other words, when I'm coming in too hot into my driveway:). Just thought I'd pass along.

Don - you notice anything yet with those 1.4's?

Hey John, I have not had any issues with rubbing when I have 4 people in my vehicle. Used mine most of the time when we were with friends down at the shore for a couple of days I did the driving all the time. Also even tho it has settled a little more and we were at the winery’s last weekend the 4 of us no rubbing. Very happy with my set up. Considering the aggressive offset I’m running.

Front Springs: Eibach 1.4 inch (E30-82-069-03-20)
Rear Springs: Eibach load leveling system for 200lbs of added weight (AK31-82-071-02-02) set at 1 1/8 inch (28mm) on the spring perch

self installed cuz I was too cheap to pay, but my body is aching cuz I used certain muscles that I’ve never used before. Now, I just need to get an alignment

I currently have a crap load of heavy tools in the back cuz I had to install at my friend’s place. I’m too sore to take it out at the moment. The “before” measurements were taken when new with stock roof rack, no tent, no sliders.

    Front: before - 20 3/8 inches/after 21 7/8 inches (with tolls in the back)
    Rear: before - 22 inches/after 23 inches (with tools).

    Additional gear:
    Tent - appx 80lbs
    Rack - appx 80lbs
    Sliders - appx 130lbs total

Updated measurements with the rear empty, but nearly a full tank of gas:

    Driver side: 23.5 inches
    Passenger side: 23.25 inches

So, after a 3 day off-road excursion, I’ve come to the realization that I miss the plushness of the stock set up. I know these shocks can be rebuilt, but anyone know if they can be tuned or re-valved?

I bet it has something to do with your rear load leveling setup.

The eibach front springs have the same spring rate.

Both sets of springs are stiffer. Stock front is supposedly 550lbs, eibach are 620lbs. Stock rear 180lbs, my load leveling is 250lbs

Wanted to share this video which was part of our 3 day shenanigans. Upon doing a closeup, I see that my suspension is doing its job. Mine is the car with the roof top tent.

I'm considering going back to stock tire size and lift (from the Wescott) when it's time for new tires. I forgot how plush that was. The only negative for me was the massive nose dive and lack of ground clearance.

I know exactly how you feel. The only solution is an aftermarket suspension with adjustable compression and rebound. Maybe one day, but not today. When it comes time for replacement, I’ll probably do the high end fox shocks and UCAs with a 3” front and 2” rear lift.

Per Fox, these are serviceable and rebuildable.

They incorporate Internal Bypass technology and would allow the opportunity to open them up and have them revalved. However, since they are Internal Bypass, it would require someone who is familiar with Internal Bypass to successfully revalve them. It’s not just a matter of throwing shims at it and expecting a change in ride. There are tuners out there who won’t touch internal bypasses due to the complexity of tuning them, a lot of variables to consider.

We are very happy with the stock PRO suspension ride, however I plan on installing a winch and small bumper and 285’s and the Eibach 1.4 springs
Does anyone have these springs with a winch that can tell me if the winch softens the ride back to near stock?
Also can I leave the rear with the stock springs to level it?
I don’t plan on carrying much weight

I think unfortunately you will find that this is all dependent on the driver and each driver has a different feel. Some will love the Eibach setup, some will not. Some will like the Westcott some
won’t like it. I know the installer I talked to said that the Westcott is very stiff and rides that way. And said the Eibach setup keeps a great ride. Also has a lot to do with the type of tires installed and their load rating. If I go with 285’s I am going to go with AT3’s in SL. Only 47lbs and should keep a soft road feel.

I think Westcott is fine on road . Off road is where the difference between stock shows. It’s not terrible, but noticeable. I wish I could drive a stock truck, then a wescott, then an Eibach all in a row to see the difference.

Agree completely. That would be the ideal way. And even then it’s going to be dependent on the person in the seat. Comfortable is different to everybody.

I should add that my Eibach kit is still just sitting in a bedroom because I do worry I may lose my ride quality. I absolutely love the way this thing rides. I do understand the nose dive issues. But man, the cruising ride comfort is just great to me.

at a certain point I am going to have to just rip the bandaid off and install the supercharger and lift.

Do the swap yourself. It's a pain, but not terrible. If you don't like it, you can switch back. I've backed off the supercharger.

I’m excited about the supercharger. It too has been sitting in a bedroom for almost a year now. lol. Wanted to get some miles on the motor first and sort of through the new break in. Trying to find an experienced shop to install has been tough that’s closest but I have found one a few hours away. Hopefully this summer I will get it installed.

I’m so glad I switched from the westcott to the Eibach springs. My Pro has been perfect since the switch. And it’s been a few thousands of miles and still like the ride better. IMG_5638.jpg

Would really like to get the Eibach setup, just having a hard time deciding between the 1.4 and 2.5 front springs. Anybody running the 2.5 kit?

There are a few 2.5s in here. Seems the ones I’ve seen have a slight reverse rake to them.
