Some phone chargers use a small amount of power when they are plugged in without the phone. so when you leave the car at the airport for your trip to Tahiti pull the charger

I'm gonna do this this week to mine! I had already done an auxiliary setup with the volt gauge, dual usb ports and another 12v plug on the driver side with a switch to turn it on when I want to use it, but my dometic fridge utilizes that spot.

I was in go go go mode last week after I got home for the expo to get ready for this last weekends adventures of boating at lake powell with my buddy and towing his pop up trailer down for him, I had two bad transfer cases that I had to make good and test before friday at 5. So if you have any Q's on how our T-cases come apart or go together, I am the resident expert now LOL.

We did a good bit of exploring at the expo around Sedona and surrounding areas.

Pictures of the expo and the inaugural fridge trip will be up either tonight or tomorrow and I'll for sure post some on here!

OH! and its a 65 qt. You'll laugh when you see how it fits!

It would be nice to be able to charge my phone constantly when I leave it in the car. Have you noticed any issue with battery drainage?

The relays for the 5th gens are very well hidden. I am not sure where it is, but I've heard its difficult to access.

Ok I would like to do this but I took two of my outlets and wired lights to them I have a inline switch but will they still draw juice when I turn the inline switches off?

    i really dont think so.

If you did this and didnt have the inline switch the lights would be on constantly.

flip the switch off and the lights will be off but your outlets will be on.

Will this mod allow me to use a solar battery charger plugged into my cig lighter?
The charger instructions say it only works on always on cigarette lighters.

Thank god I found this forum! Just checking in to make sure no one has any reported electrical issues since this post was hot?!

Also - any recommendations on the non-conductive material to use? It may have been quoted earlier in the thread and missed by me.

Thanks Ramon, et al in advance!!
