I second 12V Solutions. US based. I would pay for the long range version if I had the choice to purchase again, because why not. Plug and play for my 2022 trd or

I would use "plug and play" carefully.

There are remote start settings in carista IF AND ONLY IF you already have the OEM remote start module installed. If the remote module isn't installed then there is no setting to change. Every so often (rarely) there is a remote module installed and disabled because the customer didn't pay for it.

You can check your port installed options sheet, or just try carista. Doubtful you have it and it's disabled.

For what it's worth, the OEM remote start is pretty sucky in my opinion because it uses the key fob and the range sucks. The viper one I have is good for a quarter mile or longer.

Another way to check is the Toyota app - they try to sell you remote services if your truck has the module installed.

Wait for a black Friday sale. $300 including installation is a good deal.

I am pretty sure I don't have it. I have remote start on my Expedition but rarely use it because once I decide to leave, I leave. I can't sit around for 10 minutes for the engine to warm up. I had remote start on the Lexus app and that was totally useless. You had to jump through too many hoops, answer too many questions and if your didn't forget your password it would start. Later on, the app was complexity disabled because their system did not work with 5G.

    ps

Wouldn't installing aftermarket anything void the warranty, especially electrical?

So when I purchased my T4R i only received 1 key... the owner prior installed a PURSUIT remote start. Has ANYONE heard of this causing issues trying to get a second key to program correctly? I tried multiple times and was told I HAVE to go to dealer and have them re-program the whole computer????:argue:

No, an aftermarket remote start won't void the warranty.

Just curious what the conclusion of this remote start is? N2 has a push button and G-Key model. I was thinking about the G-Key model since I don't have push button.

Are there issues with the key model?
    What is the range?
Does it work as expected? Plug and Play or slice and dice?
Looks like the door open issue is fixed where it requires a key in the ignition, turned to on, then pressing the brake. If pressing the brake without the key, it will shut of the engine.

I second them. I have their systems on four cars. Never an issue. And they're great with the customer service.
