Completed Wiring Harness Request form, rec'd currently not available response. Plugged reminders in phone to check availability every few weeks............when Red's invoice appeared this afternoon.
Reached out to couple online Toyota dealers and Toyota of Olathe happened to have one in stock. At competitive price. With reasonable shipping.

Harness & Accessory Meter in hand.
Reviewed Red's instructions more than few times. Looks straightforward with the exception of a single step emailed Red for a clarification.
If a good look over validates the harnesses quality, it should be his livelihood, not a hobby. There's got to be a backstory here worth a great bottle of single malt.

That will have to be a future mod, Santa brought a couple of new pew pews and several thousand rounds to go with them. Not cheap.

I ended up trading in my 4Runner for a Tacoma as we needed the use of a truck more than an SUV and I did this mod but removed the AMD before trade in so I have one available if anyone is interested. Make me an offer. I just have the AMD, not the harness as I didn't have time to remove it.

It's a want/not need option, how much are you asking and where do I find a harness?

I'd sell it for $250. It's less than a year old and I kept the interior very clean.

The harness I bought from the recommendation here for Old Red. He has a request form but it looks like he's sold out at the moment. I followed the link here: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1...XEKYX_nS4AaVyBEDdciL6nnW8p-d8Yis0A/closedform

OOF. I mean, at least you got the AMD out but you can get that pretty much on any Toyota parts site, sometimes eBay too.
The wiring harness though? Thats the part I would've grabbed. It's impossible to find and Big Red doesn't make them but maybe 1x or 2x a year, in limited supply.

Don't let it happen again :D
