5th Gen Hood Swap

I hate the scoop when parking. I'm over 6'3" and that damn bulge in the hood takes away from nearly a foot of view. Before getting the multi terrain monitor, it was getting hard to see the curb on a parking spot so that I could get right up against it without ripping up the side walls of my tires.

New to this forum and the 4 Runner community. Bought my SR5P about a month ago and am loving it. Want to see if anyone would like to do a hood swap. Looking for a skoop hood. Willing to trade or negotiate. Located in So Cal in the NE Los Angeles area.

ISO any hood with scoop. The color doesn’t matter to me. Must be located in FL (if you have a Nauti Blue hood with scoop I’d go as far as Georgia lol). I have a flat Nauti Blue hood if wanting to trade plus cash on my end.

You said before getting the MTM—does that mean you were about to get a dealer to install it after purchase, or did you get a new 4Runner that had it? Curious because I don’t have it and would like MTM too. Anytime Camera is nice, but it’s limited to front and back and I want to be able to see my front corners. Agreed that the hood scoop really gets in the way.

I have a 2001 4Runner Limited. I had the chrome tail pipe tip. It didn't matter to me if it was shiny or not because I removed the stock exhaust and installed a Borla stainless steel cat-back exhaust system. I now have a polished stainless steel tip and my 4Runner no longer sounds like a Camry.
