Don't step on snek! It a petroglyph on that boulder, lower left. Very crude style, compared to those you might see in Moab, like special ed petroglyphs.

Here's camp. I can pack up in less than 5 minutes, lol:

    Ah - I didn't see that either.

I was looking for a rattlesnake or something in the grass or around the rocks and couldn't see a damn thing lol

Stock size (265) KO2s. I put them on three days after buying the truck.

They are quiet on the roads and certainly capable off-road. I like them. Will admit to not having a deep frame of reference to compare against though. Most of my tire experience is with motorcycles.

None. There is some mild rock crawling, which was a little tough the morning we had light snow. However, no sharp switchbacks or other obstacles that gave the trailer any trouble.

More Moab shit. The Jeep ladies concede that Toyotas are not to be sneezed at! Still.... they killed it. Glad to have my bumpers! Screenshot_20211207-231600_Gallery.jpg 39071.jpg Screenshot_20211207-132046_Gallery.jpg

    All of them.
Icon compression 17x9. Had to of came down just right on the wheel (aired down about 19/20) and hit the edge of the simulated bead lock ring. And it cracked it right off about the size a nickel. Still held air but it’s definitely not safely useable. Got a repair shop to patch it for a spare and even they said don’t use it so icon is seeing if they have one in the warehouse to replace it with.

    Beautiful.

I moved out west six years ago from Philly/New York.

We're still in our honeymoon phase, constantly in awe of all the amazing places for camping and adventure out here.

    Your pic reminded me again.

    Thanks,
    Jason

From our 4000-mile trip thru the SW.

First: Blue Beast at Manzanar, east side of the Sierras. Typically, things have changed radically in 20+ years since I was there. Last time it was only a couple of abandoned guard shacks.

    Manzanar-10_de98e468058b679a845d6e32d1dd7972c8089c6c.jpg

Then, the Beast somewhere in the Rockies between Boulder, CO and Ogden, UT.

    Heading-Home-4_4cc914c796cf555177bbb1b4d834374792b4d0f5.jpg

Had 4-5 hrs of snow from Reno, then REALLY bad winds from Lone Pine to Apple Valley (4 semis and one idiot who couldn't read the "No Trailers Due to High Winds" signs, all turned over). Ran up the east side of the Rockies just ahead of a storm. Our preferred route through Rocky Mountain NP was closed due to an avalanche, so we went through Eisenhower Tunnel and were 100 feet or so below snow level for several hours. Arizona and New Mexico were cold but nice.

FYI: "In 1942, the United States government ordered more than 110,000 men, women, and children to leave their homes and detained them in remote, military-style camps. Manzanar War Relocation Center was one of ten camps where the US government incarcerated Japanese immigrants ineligible for citizenship and Japanese American citizens during World War II."
