    Classic great read
One of the first dudes to really impel me. His questioning of history, and instead, taking the natives for their word and believing things modernly dismissed as myths and folklore, is fascinating. Lost technology, aliens and human origins are my hobby lol :der:

We drove maybe 5-6 miles into the Stampede before we were stopped by snow(or lack of offroad skills), decided to check the lake instead.

That's a good call. I've gotten stuck in spring snow and it took hours to get out. I high centered the truck and all four tires were spinning. So I sold my tiny truck and got myself a Tundra on 37s to aid in deeper snow :D

Can a Subaru really go offroad?
Sure! If it’s being pulled by a Toyota

Jokes aside, had a good time today at Yankee hill, CO. Unfortunately a broken tie rod stopped the trip short. Took well into the night but we finally got it home. Dragging a loaded trailer through rock gardens and ledges was a new experience for me.

IMG_6659.jpg The many reservoirs of East Tennessee once were the dreams of off roading. TVA basically banned it several years ago but they rarely complain about people doing photo shoots. I’ve had some amazing times on these lake beds.

I've been to that Rest Area many times while in route to & from SoCal.
Montana has some of the cleanest RA and most of them are heated in the winter.
