Went up Argentine Pass recently where the road gets up to 13,200 feet. This was the first time out after a Dobinson's IMS install.

@Pentangler I only have about 300 miles on them but they are awesome. They allow you to drive the 4runner in a much different way, a bit more aggressively. There is now hardly any lean or body roll around higher speed curves. Similarly, the nose dive when braking is gone. Off road things are simply smoother and less jostling. I think the suspension absorbs much more of the bumps so you can either go a little faster or at the same speeds the ride is much smoother. My wife, in the passenger seat, previously thought I was being a crappy driver with the amount of swaying, rolling, and leaning movements the vehicle would make and the softness of the OEM suspension is mostly all gone now.

Doing some leaf peeping in our 4Runner yesterday. Northern Colorado/Southern Wyoming. Best time of year around here!

Bishop, CA - Buttermilk Loop

 

National Forest in northern Wisconsin. I was driving around in forest, then the world opened up into some beautiful vistas that I was not expecting in Wisconsin. I think this area must be dunes blown in from lake superior around 10 miles away. Seems like mostly sand with grass grown over. Just a guess though, not sure if that’s what they are. it was hard to capture the depth of these features from the top of them.

 

Took a trip to Ouray Colorado and Taos New Mexico a couple weeks ago. Always fun.

 

Yep, it’s that time of the year!

 

No pics but took the "Beast" down to Yakima to fish for Chinook on the Columbia and to visit a friend on "The Rez" for frybread. The trees in Blewett Pass were turning nicely, better as you gained elevation. Even the larches were starting to turn.

 

California Dreamin' at Genoa Peak, east side of Lake Tahoe:



Kingsbury Grade to Spooner Summit on very easy forest roads. Heavily traveled and managed, though, with iron rails along much of the route to prevent even roadside parking. Lots of buggies.

Last weekend at Grant Lake in the Eastern Sierra mountains. Stretching her legs out for a little bit.
