Yeah the reviews were great and I didn't want a wooden handle since it's likely to get rained on eventually. Will only be on the rack for camping though.

 

Look who I found on the interweb.... Oh hell. I had to bring it to the Heeps that day. I wont Lie. I didn't win the barrel racing in the 4Runner. My steering is still not what it needs to be.

 

Fortunately there's a pretty big TW/T4R SoCal crew so I don't have to go out with the heeps.

 

Oh I know. I ran with them for a bit before moving...

 

Good group of guys on TW so far, I've only been out with them once but I've been out with T4R twice on big runs and once a small snow run. Good times.

Here's the TW meet a few weeks ago, I'm somewhere in the middle, haha. 25 rigs, 3 4runners, a jeep, a tundra, and the rest Tacomas.

 

What did you all run or go?

 

Cleghorn. It was a lot of 2wd guys with a handful of 4wd. At some point I lost track of the 4wd guys doing the offshoots so I ended up staying on the main trail and doing some of the easier offshoots. I still need to put my extended brake lines on and some of the off shoots were dippy from the rain so I stayed away from a lot of them.

 

Shovel to go with my axe came in today. Now I need to go camping

 

That's cool. I have not seen one of those yet.

 

Boom!!!!! This and less than 5 minutes of cleaning. The wheels have never been this clean. Amazing what a little aluminum safe acid will do...... Last pic was before amd you see the after up top. All four wheels took less than 20 minutes with a scuz brush....

I saw this, but apparently they've gotten backlash from some of the employees because of it. I used to work for 4WP and Greg Adler was always really cool, but his CFO was such an egotistical douche. They'd make store visits all the time, but it's a young company and I'm glad they did the show.

A great day of wheeling. Good friends and nothing broken even on the level 5 trails. Winning. This is how you call it a good day. Now to enjoy the cold brew.

 

Had a great weekend in the snow

 

I need to go back to my home away from home. I was up for a few days in January and there was hardly any snow. No where near enough to snowmobile on.

 

snow has been minimal this year, killington, where i was this weekend, is relying 98% on snowmaking to stay open, usually they can open the place fully by christmas with mostly nature helping out

 

I went looking for my dogs all over the house. Could not find them. Finally went to look out side and found them. I think they are trying to tell me something.
