To answer a previous reply, I pulled my back seats for a few reasons. First, in the 2025 non hybrid, the seats folded down are not level with the rest of the cargo area. Very annoying. This is due to no batteries in a non hybrid.
Second, I just don’t need them, and my cat Blossom travels with me so I wanted her to have max room in the back to chill out.
Also, I am an RC guy and my planes are huge. The room is appreciated.

This is pretty much the situation in Wisconsin as well. Most of the time, if you find ethanol free it is only available in premium. I have found ethanol free regular up north, but there's a pretty hefty price difference.

    Very cool!

Ethanol free here is only available in 87 octane but it's priced similar to premium.

Well, real world testing I get 4 mpg less with ethanol blends. I’ll go with real world data.

I'll go with the real world of science and math.

    Nevertheless, enjoy your new ride.

We only have gas with ethanol here in New England.

    Well,
I’m an as9100 aerospace engineer at Tolerance Masters in critical flight safety systems for commercial airliners. Just retired after 42 years.
There is what science and math and computer simulations will say on what is real, and then after real world testing we have to adjust all that data so that families and kids will fly safe.
You sure you know what your talking about?

I have done the same real world comparisons myself over several tanks and found results to be close to what the chemistry would predict. While calculated estimates and reality do differ to a degree, in my experience a variance of 6.6X would suggest there are other variables in play. it's not worth arguing about beyond this though.

Again, and I'm serious, I hope you enjoy your new 4Runner.

    Congratulations and welcome.

I haven't read all the posts, so hopefully I don't re-state something. But how many miles on your truck? My 2019, if the MPG meter is reset, takes a while to get back to displaying what MPG the truck is actually getting. Like several tankfuls. Also, are you doing any manual calculations?

Cool! I flew RC planes for a few years. Had a blast. Is everything electric these days? Even something that big?

My last plane (and my previous 4Runner):
