Am I the only one that can't get over those shiny black fenders flares. Other than that, I think they really hit it out of the park.

Also, good luck to Sam on keeping his job :p

In one of the videos from the Tacoma reveal, that jolly Santa Claus head engineer from Toyota talked about the A-pillar design. I can't recall what he said tho.

Wheelbase of the new model has grown by 2.4-inches and overall length has grown by 4.7-inches compared to the old model

So it's not going to fit as well in tight garages.

I like this angle, color and wheels. Just don't like the air-vent in the front. Is that easily removable ?

It has exact same specs as Tacoma, so you can just look at that to see the numbers.

Ahaha someone didn’t see the “PM” in the Toyota’s announcement announcement!

But cool. Third row option, NiMH battery chemistry in the hybrid option and full-time 4WD option confirmed!

Almost 5” longer and slightly worse angles. Doesn’t that make this Land Cruiser/GX sized?

How is the departure angle even worse... smh

I was hoping Toyota would try to fill the gap the FJ Cruiser left in the lineup... This is evidently not the case. Despite the cool name: Trailhunter

I like it. Seems like they kept the iconic shape of the 4R but added the “modern day” body lines of Toyotas new generation.

Sam updating his resume right now. :p

Those painted fender flares, apparently Toyota putting awful paint job on the black painted version of those flares. Paint just looks sub par and the part has ripples in it.

For the cost of the new Tundras, quality control looking poor.

This vid shows those painted flares up close.

No, you're not. This brings back memories of those awful plastic fender flares Toyota used on some of the 4th Gen models. I can see an aftermarket replacement fender flare opportunity for somebody that has injection molding experience and equipment. At this point I'm glad I bought a brand new '24 a couple of weeks ago.

This is why military time is a thing. You think they'd triple check they set the release time correctly at a place like Forbes. I'm not complaining, now I don't have to watch the whole stream

Where are the specs published? I thought the release was this evening?

What gap? Is there a big market for goofy looking SUV's with stupid backwards rear doors?

Fender flare color is going to be dependent on model. It will be same as Tacoma, so we know

    Color-matched fender flares
    SR5
    TRD Sport
    Limited

    Black fender flares
    TRD Off Road
    TRD Pro
    Trailhunter

Only question is whether the black versions will be painted or have that matte camo-looking color.

This is a new $75k Tundra with bad paint and ripples on the fender flares.

The Jeep Wrangler Ford Bronco gap. Toyota doesn't need a family SUV lineup with the same number of options as a color wheel. Making the 4runner a convertible would make it not redundant.

Actually, they should have kept the 4runner as a Prado with a rear window that rolls down, it was the Land Cruiser that needed repositioning in the first place. The Land Cruiser should have taken on the Wrangler/Bronco
