I would not do it for a color. I would do it for an ORP.

Also, white is a classic. Lunar Rock is a trendy color that may just not do well with time as its novelty wears off.

    Think this way:

A white SR5 or a Lunar Rock TRD ORP? Lunar Rock all day, every day! Around here, when I was shopping around for a 4R, about 6 out of every 10 were white or blizzard pearl, the others being silver, gray, blue, or black. Army Green and Lunar Rock were hard to find in any trim level. My daughter traded in her '22 Tacoma SR5 in Barcelona red on a '23 4R TRD ORP in Lunar Rock, has no regrets at all. Color is very subjective, but that's the first thing you see when you walk out to your vehicle. If you say to yourself, "that white's nice, but man I wish I had spent the money and gotten the Lunar Rock", then you have your decision. It's a left-brain versus right-brain kind of dilemma, heart versus head kind of thing. It's definitely going to cost you money (since it's a higher trim level) and peace of mind (previous loaner), so you'll have to take all that into consideration to determine how badly you want the Lunar Rock.

My guess is the OP has probably already made a decision and the rest of the posts in here are moot.
