2021 TRD Pro in Lunar Rock Finally but…

My advice is email every dealer in your state and the states around. Not all Trd Pro's are listed on website. I did just that and found one for MSRP. Make sure to email General manager, do not waste time on regular sales people. Put in the effort and you will find the deals. The pro's are out there.

To update the status of my new 4R purchase, I've decided to go with 4R Venture Special Edition w/ KDSS & Moonroof in Gray at MSRP with Concord Toyota and gave them a $500 non-refundable deposit. Vehicle should be delivered in about a month or so from now.

By the way, for those that might be interested, Toyota Vallejo has a TRO Pro in Black coming in a month also selling at MSRP. I had a hard time deciding between the two options since I originally wanted the Pro but in the end, I don't want to deal with the Black color and Gray was my top choice after Lunar Rock.

 

They're thicker but they aren't steel.

 

Thats funny im down in Lemon Grove east of San Diego and the Toyota dealer out here is doing the same thing with the add ons. "Desert Package" shitty lift, bigger tires and so so wheels for like $7500 extra. They are also putting snorkels on Tacomas. HAHA

 

With all the dealers we have down here to choose from in San Diego EVERY one of them were a rip off. Got a deal at Tustin in OC

Thanks for this! I probably emailed 50 dealers across southeast and beyond and was able to find one a state beyond that had an allocation and had a potential buyer but that buyer was dragging their feet putting a 5k deposit on it. Dealer said if you put a deposit down now (after we discussed price), then it’s yours. A few dealers in Atlanta had one at the same time as my search but wanted +5k over MSRP while also adding every single option imaginable juicing the MSRP up another 5k or so. Paid a little over MSRP but definitely not 5k and at that point I didn’t care as this is what I wanted and felt the well was drying up on the 2021 Pros. Rented a car with my rental points and picked it up and drove it home (while trying to keep all the idiots in ATL from crashing in to me on the way back home)

 

Congrats. Likely one of the last builds, when is it due to arrive?

 

Is the black pro still available with vallejo? I've been looking all around for one

 

It was in transit when I put the deposit down and I picked it up and drove it home 7/9. Came in on 7/5 but wasn’t going to go get during July 4th traffic, as much as I wanted to. Now to get some back seat covers to keep the kids and dog from trashing it and to sell my trusty old tacoma to Carvana for hopefully a good amount

 

As an update, I picked up my Venture with KDSS this week.
