Those calipers seem fine from a distance. But the wheel certainly looks odd. Never seen anything like that. In any event, hope you get this sorted it out with the new set.

Well the cover of that wheel is actually black plastic. That's not the wheel itself. I don't even know what the actual wheel looks like. Only from the back

Is it a hub-centric wheel? Is it hitting the caliper because it's not getting precisely centered?

No. The lugs were aligned perfectly. Just was hitting brake caliper and the wheel was not going in all the way and the lugs could only go through very little due to that. My stock wheels are ok. Just the aftermarket wouldn't go. Not sure what you mean but a "hub centric wheel.

Stock 4runner rims have an offset of +15mm, trd wheels have an offset of +4mm. So the offset isn't the problem. Good luck on the 3in lift and all the suspension geometry

New wheel hitting caliper. Would still need at least an inch to bolt to rotor.

Thanks all. 3 inch lift has been installed. Haven't been able to drive my new truck for 2 weeks until I get it aligned. And get wheels that fit.

Well if there's that offset. Than the 0mm offset they sent me will not work correct?

    And it's a plus offset...not a minus offset?

Is this after lift? It looks like the reduced clearance on the stock wheel might be due to a change in caster angle.

Backspacing and the spokes are probably the issue. Those wheels you showed up above first don't seem well known for 4R. Best to stick with tried and tested products. Hang in there though.

Is this the stock wheel, or the set that hit on something?

The OP needs to post a picture of the wheel that's hitting the caliper, with the stamped wheel specs. The picture that he took of the "stock" wheel shows it being 17x7, with what looks to be a +11mm offset (see yellow arrow). A 17x9 wheel with a -12mm offset, even a 0 offset, should still fit and clear the suspension and caliper. So the new wheels have the right bolt pattern and the correct hub diameter? The reason I ask is the Dirty Life website also shows a 17x9 with a 6x135 bolt pattern and an 87mm hub, which won't fit. That's gotta be frustrating, to say the least!

Read the whole thread, eager to know more

Hell, I have a 3" lift and 0 offset wheels, and they're frickin 9" wide, and I didn't rub anything
ALSO I did not require an BMC for that setup like some have said above..perhaps that's cuz I have aftermarket UCA's and not OE.

If its these wheels doesn't look like they fit.

    Enter 4Runner info here.

    https://www.customwheeloffset.com/buy-wheel-offset/9315-7973MB12/dirty-life-compound-17x9-12

It also looks like TireRack doesn't sell this brand so how you got it from them beats me. Or I can't find it yet.

It says hub bore too small. I'm thinking you are hitting the hub somehow and not the caliper.

Well looks like they do make those wheels with the right hub size. Make sure you indeed get the 106mm ones.
