It’s for city people that like to bump into stuff while parking. I’ve never understood how that hideous cover is more attractive than a few paint chips on the bumper.

But, I do agree that trail damage is different. I have a ton of pinstripes. They don't bug me. But, door dings piss me off. Some people have no respect for other people's vehicles.

 

For some people, these are show cars. I take mine to shows occasionally, but I wear my trail scars with pride. My car guy buddies don't get it.

The funny thing is that I totally exaggerated in my initial post. I've probably made contact with a total of 10 vehicles in my lifetime while parking. But, you got so upset about it that I just couldn't leave it alone.
