She has not decided/found one she loves yet .. that is why I like your idea so much. Very nicely done! I have designed a few bumpers for my wife but we have not committed to anything. I have a metal company here that are good dudes and I can send them anything and they will laser it out. Just haven't committed the time to finish anything yet.

Yeah, that is why I was saying the only potential issue might be that piece. Pulling at an angle might bend the front a little but I was thinking the same thing that a little gusset would cover that. I'd probably try without it and see how it goes.

Are those stress fractures on the bottom right around the "hole"?

It’s possible. The camera really brings them out compared to seeing them in person.
I noticed the same type of hair line cracks in other places of the Transfer case. I’ll keep an eye on it. Hopefully it’s from the casting process.
Thanks for bringing it to my attention.
Also The TC is full of gear oil.

It is part of the casting. All of them look like that so it isn't really something to worry about.

Copy that. That’s what I was leaning towards. You also see it on the cylinder heads.
    Thanks for the reply.

Changed the oil, rotated the tires (too late to lube the u-joints and driveshaft so I'll do that later). Got to try out the oil filter canister drain tool for the first time. Worked great. That combined with the valvomax really make draining the oil much less messy. Drilling out the hole in my oil container allows me to put the drain tubes straight into the container which saves wiping off the surface oil after it's done draining.

Hard to believe I have 25,000 miles on it already.

Decided to let my 6112s settle instead of lowering um from 1.1 to 0.7 since its stupid expensive. Bought some dobinson 323 rear coils and some 5100s.

Wanna pull the trigger on some 255/75 wranglers...but

Cleaned throttle body at 107K. 1st time it's been done. Probably should do it more often. It was dirty. Also cleaned the MAF and luckily the screw I dropped fell to the ground and not some hidden abyss. Vacuumed 6 months worth of Brittany and Chocolate lab hair out.

Don't forget to unhook the battery for 20 min. It will relearn using the clean MAF and TB. Made a big difference on my aggressive tip in.

Got the tires rotated and balanced, and had a sensor installed in the spare. Next I need to figure out how to enable 5 tires via techstream.

I didn't unhook the battery per The Care Care Nut video somebody had recently posted on another thread here. He said it will relearn after a few drives. We'll see if it helps my mileage any. Currently around 16.5 which is pretty good. Doing a 155 mile trip tonight hoping I can get 17 MPG.

My 2022 4Runner is getting between 20 to 24.5 miles mpg. But, it’s a completely stock 2 wheel drive with the stock tires. It’s got 54,700 miles on it, but, making the trip home from Ca to NM today. Once I get home, will change the oil, and rotate tires before our 2 month trip to Pennsylvania and then return through Kansas. I’ll be pulling a 5x8 trailer on the trip to Pa/Kansas, so mileage will defiantly be lower. IMG_3522.jpg

This is the mileage I get with my 21 Limited with 40k miles. I can't complain, it is more than I thought it would be with this vehicle.

I like to have it relearn right away and not take a while using old data but to each his own.

Great question @Jtexans4 . I didn't put it back on the right way, but I might next time I go camping. I've got some rod holders that are taking its place right now.

I just got off the phone with RSG. I also have their steel armor and sliders. The dealership guys WAY over tightened one of the cover hex screws and I had to drill it to get it out. They are sending me a couple of new ones and the dealership will not being doing oil changes ever again!
