I weigh about 265 and am nearly 65 and as “Husky” as I am, I can still slide under the truck and complete an oil change, diff fluids, prop shaft greasing/ transmission fluid without jacking up it up. A couple of hints.

1). I cannot use a creeper, I must be on the ground with a cruddy T-shirt.
2). Be strategic with your inhales and exhales. I do have to exhale to clear some areas, I don’t park your body under those spots.
    3) My 4runner is not lifted, but I do have 32” tires. (255 / 75’s).
    4) Don’t panic if you feel stuck. Proper exhales and patience with get you back out.

You are definitely bigger, older and probably taller than me. Maybe it's my severe claustrophobia.i am on stock tires.

which big red floor jack did you buy? Amazon? or where?

I just saw this one on sale
    https://www.amazon.com/BIG-RED-TAM830003XL-Economic-Aluminum/dp/B0BFDW4Q2C

my HF jack failed, lucky for me I was only lifting 60 pound sliders at the time,
when I tried to lift the truck with it after it collapsed holding the slide...it was just spouting hydraulic fluid

Get the 6ton jack stands or larger. They have a larger base and higher lift ability without having to extend the arms so high.

Using a 3ton extended all the way up is just asking to have an accident and looking to win a Darwin award.

You can get an award for using a 3-ton jack? I'm in!

thanks, I looked at that one...
2024 4runner is the highest, heaviest vehicle I will lift...
I went with the 3 ton aluminum version cause it had handles and had a 30% off coupon
It got delivered today, and box looked like it had been drug behind the truck

I was gonna return it to Amazon, they offered 1/2 off to keep it, I opened it and checked function...
it worked, so I kept it and after their discount, I got a big red 3 ton aluminum jack for $77

I bought this jack stand, got it...
then figured out it was $75 EACH...so had to buy another one

but the ESCO jack stands look pretty good, got some smaller aluminum ones too

Lmao this is an old thread but this dude said “don’t go with that Chinese shit from harbor freight” then proceeds to recommend a brand made in China.
